Don't mind me, just a triggered personal trainer here.
Those weren't real push-ups. One push-up consists of an eccentric phase (going down) and a concentric phase (pushing yourself up). For the concentric phase you have to make a full arm extension. You can see he only goes up halfway (which makes it easier and possible to do more).

To push for the last 30 seconds you should probably resist from shaking/moving you arm and also not hold a timer in the other arm. Both of these will reduce the consumption of the oxygen in your blood. I'm sure there are others way to cut it down also.
JJDea7h I find that pushing out my chest at the end of holding my breath helps slightly. Might just be me tho
