That track is the equivalent of a boss fight in a RPG :D
Although it has obvious chequerboard upscaling, the haptics on the Dualsense are very impressive. You can feel and hear gravel hitting the underside of the car.
3 years on, WRC 9 still 9/10.

Too bad dirt 5 was a gigantic disappointment. Because of that I tried WRC 9 out and it’s amazing.
I find it lacking. The details in the distance are poor. You can see the grass render, suddenly appearing out of the water on the sides of the road.

To get the full feel for a driving game you should use the cockpit view it has a totally different feel. Obviously each to thier own

Compared to what we've started with I think the environment looks beautiful. I don't know if you remember rally games back on the ps1, or pc late 90's early 2000? I couldn't even imagine back then that graphics would come to a level like this
Colin mcrae rally 1 and 2.0 are the best rally games back then I still play them now especially Colin mcrae 2.0 which has the pops and cracks

It does have some pop in issues, but plays super smooth and the Dualsense controller makes this game really fun. The haptics and adaptive trigger programming are the second best on the PS5, only beaten by Astro’s Playroom.
It has pop up issues because it’s a PS4 game getting played on a ps5 console. The frame rate will always be the same unless it gets a patch

@@golions13579 I am using my Series X now and I have just checked for you. It is still £7 which is a bargain in my opinion but its not on gamepass anymore. It must have literally just been for the week. The deals section completely changes each week I have noticed which keeps it fresh. I have however paid the £7. WRC 9 really is worth it
@@chrisrichards6139 I have it for Ps5 and love it. Love the audio signals for turns instead of visual hints like forza. More realistic. Although you can change that in the option on Forza. Forza games are still amazing

Haha PC games love it. Play forza Horizont 4 and compare it to series x it is so close. And forza Horizont is actually the best looking racing game. PC games are like console games look so worse compare to PC. But in reality the major difference in the past 5 years was Resolution, fps and draw distance. In the raytracing area like cyberpunk is the first time the PC have something visually new. But xbox and ps5 can that do not that perfect like on PC (with a great gpu) but close to it.
Great real. I wanted to do it with the beauty of the image as if it were in an actual race.
However, PS5 is difficult to obtain.
The horizontal lines in the reflections in the water really breaks immersion for me.
