no the ground clearance is not ridiculous .. its BLOODY GENIUS !! with the high GC, the virtus becomes a true grand tourer. it can go to almost any patch roads of India and you can comfortable do a cross country trip that involves state roads and village roads apart from highways. The 179mm GC is what sets this car apart. Its also engineered to be highly stable even with the car sitting high.. you can easily do triple digit speeds and the car will feel like you are doing 80s

The factory ecu comes locked and ain't friendly to open. So swapping out with an Ecu of the Troc which has the same 1.5tsi evo engine and which is unlocked from factory would have been the option. I hope. Plus if you get a straight pipe and install an EGR from the Octavia 2.0tsi or 1.8tsi, the car might gain a couple of more ponies and would be more agressive to drive.😈

I can't understand why VW and Skoda do not offer the 1.5 TSI with rear disc brakes. When people can afford a 20L+ car, they very well can spend another 30-40k more. Don't cut costs where it matters! And before people jump and say that in FWD cars majority of the load is on the front brakes; Yes I know that. But when the frigging Yaris and Fluidic Verna came with rear discs, why not the Virtus and Slavia?

My stock koda slavia 1.5MT Ambition was only 16.5 lakhs & it's still 90% the fun of this car. Mods aren't making sense for these cars so far! Hopefully they will, financially.

So let's say if we are on a higher gear trying to slow down and then try to gain pace..it's kinda struggle to downshift ....it uoshifts are quicker and downshifts are delayed ...TCU remap can solve this ...but considering it's a dry system and Indian traffic..I prefer the manual anyday

It's a night mare ... 6 spd dsg is dq 250 which used in diesel iteration with 300 nm torque is much suited for Indian roads as it is wt clutch based but dq 200 isn't ... But I don't sure where golf GTI uses dq 200 dry clutch as max torque rating for that gearbox is 250 nm unless you might have done some sort of TCU tune
Great content. But some questions tho. 1. There are no mentions of the torque figures. And when the tuning protocols were initially released a couple of months back, the torque made the headlines by being quite skeptical (around 350NM, yes I think its quite high for a petrol mill). Throw us some clarity on the same. 2. The ECU hasn't really been cracked, it's either a T-roc 1.5 ECU swap or an Imported ECU. So this can't be classified as a ECU crack.

Show us rpm meter and speedometer how it accelerates and how it feels from inside , not the exhaust. How much it improved from stock , how faster it is l. I dont know why it is never shown in any of the video on this channel. Too much talking and less action.

@@lakshaybharara8976 what kind? the G4LH is/was meant to be accompanied by a 48V mild hybrid. there is a tuning box that takes it to stage one 140~kw and a remap from some tuners in uk that takes it to 130~kw (do not know the details.) stage 3 is a bit complicated, since the only build i saw was from some Malaysian guy on insta and i dont really know what all he did but 227hp i think it was (not sure). if you want more than that you would need to first get the remap + intercooler, downpipe, custom turbo (make the one in it a hybrid with larger internals), air intake. the wacky part, have the tuning box run on top of the stage 1 tune as such that the box modifies the values on the stage 1 tune instead of the onboard memory that has stock values of the regular 158/168hp factory settings. this should put you around 300hp (±25 ) and 260+lb-ft of torque. again a really scuffed method for stage 3 of this car. the vw groups 1.5 evo (ea211) has a hybrid turbo from RTMG for 290 max hp on 99 RON (not sure of the ron rating). it can go beyond that but you would need to custom fit a is20/k04 turbo with all the needed parts fabricated. forged pistons with reduced compression.
Honestly I wouldnt do anything to virtus 1.5 or any of the 1.5 tsi with dsg dq200.. dq200 thats coming with the outgoing virts/slavia/taigun/kushaq are heavily locked down and tuned down to prevent mechatronics failure that used to happen with the earlier units on vento TDi. The DQ200 itself has 250Nm torque limit. Idk how this tune is going to last. Still interesting to see these developments.

Let me break it down for you, in most countries that have a hot car culture it is basically down to certain key factors like: 1) Availability of Cars in the market ( The quality of cars that the general public are exposed to are not potent at all) 2) Affordability of Cars and Modifications (You can snap up a V8 Mustang for about 15-20lac rupees in Europe with sweating and spend around another 5 Lacs to take it from 480hp to about 650-750hp, we don't have that accessibility. Not in terms of the cars or the parts because they are predominantly made in the West) 3) Understanding and Respecting each build ( Not all builds are about having the fastest, meanest or the most expensive car on the street. It's about making the car your own) 4) Infrastructure ( We simply don't have the roads yet to drive any car over 300hp and do it any form of justice, we simply aren't there yet) Long story short, more power doesn't necessarily mean better performance because you have to be able to put it down. Building a car culture is about understanding cars, not watching drag races on carwow.
New turbo, Forged internals, new intercooler, better injectors, new air filter, race clutch there is no end to the amount of mods that are possible it totally depends on what you want. Just know the more you mod, reliability decreases.

I have been running the DQ200 on a 300bhp GTI for almost 90k kms. Absolutely no issue.
