Water looks good and the explosion... excellent. I've got my base colors down for my water just need the translucent elements, until then I'm working on the beach, bulkhead and rock wall. Hinges in studio, lol, what a nightmare.
I hate doing anything that hinges or swivels on studio. It makes it almost impossible. And almost all of the translucent pieces you’ll need are on lego PAB online
From what you've shown it looks like you use dark blue plates for deeper water and then cover them with light blue tiles. Is that correct? You don't need dark blue tiles?
I don’t use dark blue tiles, I use dark blue plates or black plates, depending on depth I want to show, then tier it up to light blue tiles or sometimes even clear

This is an excellent series
Thank you!!
aahh men, wish I had seen this video before my MOC. Some really cool ways to make "living" water!!! Maybe for the next MOC. Keep it up Richard!!
You can always pull it up and add some things lol
@@BeardedBrix haha I could, but I used 90% trans light blue tiles. So it would be a pain in the *ss to get them off.
@@svenvanbossum213 yes I wanna go back and add some waves in mine when it’s all
Said and done. And I’m regretting that 😂
@@BeardedBrix haha these are some first world problems we have :😜
@@svenvanbossum213 I see no problems here 😂 only solutions we don’t like. The next moc I do will have no water 😂 😂 😂
Love this series! Very educational and well explained. I would really like to see more episodes.
What kind of episode would you like to see next?
Have you released a foliage tutorial yet?
No not yet. That one might not be digitally

From an aerial view it’s perfect
