I'll take an older Timberwolf TW-2 or 5 any day of the week...... I've had a TW-2 for 20 years and it still splits like a new one and I do 5-8 cords a year every year.🙂
I own the County Line 30 ton and I am happy to say that after watching you operate that Timber 💩. No offense we’ve all been there. You put a bunch of energy into that machine and money. Damn! Stay safe. Thanks for showing me I made a good decision.
Definitely needs some improvement. Why were the 4 & 6 way wedges not attached to what looked like the hydraulic piston? They were just free floating. That log lift needs to be wider. too much wood was falling off the sides.
This design doesn't have the wedges attach to the cylinder. I know it's not the best but after using it for a while it works OK. The shelf also seems to have some areas that can be improved. I find the welded supports brackets seem to be right at the 16" to have splits edge catch and help push them off the sides. All this and It's still much easier and faster than the 30 ton.

I found a bunch of junk in the fuel tank. I cleaned that out and she had been running great. I do still like my county line 30t

That wedge moving around is useless. The log lift is good for one chunk at a time. However, you didn’t pay huge money so its a win!
1st 30sec I can see why they sold it
Ok, I'm not I did or do
@@DawnRedwoodGroves TW-5 is the best splitter
@@gooddeal9160 I'm enjoying using it.
