I read this mangas so many times along with Baki. As well as having Baki Easter eggs. The manga is in the same art style as Baki around that time it released. He is a cool character. Nothing tragic tbh he just wants to be the best among the best and has a wild nature to fighting. Tanba in regards to personality is a balanced mix of Baki and Jack. Not quite as stoic and laid back as Baki but not as chaotic and extreme as Jack. That fighting style Juzo is using is supposed to have the best of every form of fighting fused into a martial art. He is a lot more hot headed in the manga though. Waaaay more hot headed. Equal to Tanba in skill

3:31 that is Matsuo Shozan basically the worlds strongest of the Garouden world. He the Garouden worlds Yujiro Hanma. As a fighter and character he’s basically Doppo Orochi in terms of Karate skill with the personality and strength close to that of Oliva Biscuit. Very ruthless but not psychotic like Yujiro or as powerful as him but still domineering and unmatched so far in the Garouden verse with the exception of maybe one other fighter which I won’t mention yet

Bushinchi Tanba is the better fighter as well as main character.
