Bahaha! Funny! We don't often see a leading romantic soprano who is a gifted physical comedienne. And hilarious choreography by Rachel Middle, another soprano who is a gifted comedienne. Well done!

I think it's more likely that most sopranos are actually pretty funny but directors / the conventionally 'more funny' male roles do not give them the space to be. For me, the most important and therefore funniest thing in this song is Josephine's extreme joy and not anything to do with Sir Joseph trying to jump overboard or croaking 'water!'
