    Surprising as Metro Manila has less cars than Jakarta, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Why is Metro Manila the most congested?
    1) Not enough new highways being built
    2) Poor train/subway system
    3) Not effective bus network
    4) Not enough good connectivity between main highways and cities in the Metro region
    5) Slums and dwellers by the side of the roads that are preventing the expansion of highways and roads.
    6) Poor traffic management.
    ... And many more reasons!

      the urban design is also really old, it's been there I guess for hundreds of years lol they just can't change it

      And the inefficient Jeeps that can only carry 16 to 20 passengers
      dapat sa probinsya nalang ung gnyang density.. sa NCR dapat in one go kasya 40 to 50 pax.

    This is a testament as to how poor governmemt here is. Zero effort to coordinate. Pati sa agriculture sector kaya hindi makarating yung supply sa market. Korapsyon kase lagi inuuna. And worse andami pang bobotante.

    Kahit kasi walang sariling paradahan may pa-kotse kotse pang nalalaman nakakadagdag lang sa bara ng kalsada dapat kapag wala kang parkingan wag ka ng maging pabigat kahit saan ka magpunta may nakaparking sa sidewalk nakakabadtrip na eh

    A less than 2 kilometer distance Bonifacio Global City from Ayala Station MRT 3, it takes almost 1 hour to travel via McKinley Road during rush hour, what the heck,.!!!!!!!

    Maraming provincia na nangangailangan development. Doon magfocus ang governo ang budget para ma decongest ang Manila. Gaya ng Airport ilipat na sa Clark. maraming taon na ang focus ng development ay naka centro sa Manila. Ngayon gusto ni PBBM na palawakin ang Pasig. at may balak na mag reclaim sa Manila bay ng 240 hectars. Ang effecto nito ay: people, funds concentration sa MM causing chaoitic traffic. At disadvantage sa probinsya na kulang ng budget.

      Hintayin nalang po natin pagnatapos na ang mga train papuntang Cavite at yung sa Laguna. Pati na rin yung bagong malaking Airport sa Bulacan. Maaring pagnatapos ang mga yun ay dun magsisimula ang expansion sa mga kalapit na probinsya. Lalo na yung sa Bulacan Airport sobrang lawak nang reclamation ginawa nila dun dahil ang plano sa airport ay palilibutan sya nang isang makabagong syudad. Yung sa Clark ginagawa na rin dun ang bagong syudad ang Clark Green City, maaring pagnatapos yun maraming lilipat na kumpanya dun galing Manila.

      ​@@keurikeuri7851kulang pa Yan, we need to expand more railways in the whole Luzon island making it accessible.
      Sadly our current president doesn't have any vision to expand and conduct a study solving this problem. Pinagpatuloy lang Niya mag proyekto ni Pinoy at Duterte, pero Wala siyang sariling vision.
      Mas inuna pa kasi jeepney phase out Saka pag travel around the world

    A good mass public transit must be:
    1. The *capacity* is enough; depend on population/density of a city;
    2. The *frequency* is right on demand, especially in rush hours; they need adjustment to be versatile;
    3. The *network* to travel in different routes even foreign tourist do not need to rent cars to go all around; we need more connecting networks like BRTs if not railways for convenience, therefore more people will use public mass transit than having individual vehicles; jeepneys and taxis still end up stuck in traffic mixed with private vehicles!
    4. *Sheltered Waiting Shed* for shading against heat or rain; convenient makes people want to use it;
    This also benefit carbrained people....
    If road too narrow? No Problem, our government done this already (the right of way), but for private cars: they completely destroyed private properties for new 4-6 lane roads, so why not more 2 lanes for BRT exclusive lanes with existing old building along primary roads?

    Decentralization and Decongestion of Metro Manila is the main key to solve the traffic, put more businesses in the provinces, lalo na yung mga umuusbong na province.

      Discipline first honestly filipinos are very undisciplined when it comes to driving thats one of the biggest reason for congestions goverments should put a heavy fine and enforce traffic law no excuses.

    Infrastructure Ph style: Build the skyway and naiax = “World’s third longest elevated urban expressway”. They take the glory but irl all the on/off ramps are all single lanes. 🤦 and no one thinks why traffic still sucks on the “solution” to edsa? Infrastructure here is completely half-baked and all about epalisms. All these infrastructure planners don’t think further than their own egos..

    Suggestion:
    Ang sagot lang dyan is accessible train system lagyan na rin ng LRT Valenzuela extension via McArthur highway given na meron ng NSCR sa may Dalandanan ikonekta kay Monumento station sana magkaroon na rin ng from Zapote station of Cavite extension to Alabang extension from Zapote station babaybayin ang Alabang Zapote Road to PNR Alabang or future NSCR Alabang para may interconnected however we need road widening first via eminent of the domain para connected ang magkabilang dulo ng Metro Manila.

      Create a new design ok f reduction scheme to monitor calculating increase of motorist yearly a
      And find a profound solution to decrease the number of volume
      Give Sharp attention of clear in addressing heavy traffic.number Coding according to research is only reducing 25 % during peak hours which is not being felt by the motorist .if you have a mechanic s of 40 or.50% is amazing that will.solve the decrease of volume during peak hour.
      This is a problem all over congested cities not only in the Philippines and to others Technology advance country. Because this is a phenomenal that can only be done by a strong political will with a new approach to engr the decrease of Volume reduction program.....
