Austin: No sign of Hamas attack on US troops building pier | VOANews

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says Hamas does not appear poised to attack U.S. forces who are building a pier off the Gaza coast to deliver aid to the war-torn strip by sea. A mortar attack targeted the pier site earlier but caused no injuries. VOA Pentagon Correspondent Carla Babb reports.

What VOA forgot to mention is that the Northen Border crossing has been opened and thousands of truckloads of food and supplies already gone and are going through daily. Austin sees no signs as if they will give him a phone call first. Lol

What a load of bs. Thousands of trucks with aid is just bs israeli propoganda. The people on the ground there know minimal trucks are being allowed through and also Israel deliberately targeted, shot and killed an aid truck driver in the last few days and IDF (ITF) allowed israeli settlers to jump on some trucks and destroy aid meant for Gaza. Those who support the Israeli lies are supporting genocide and history in the future will show this.

That guy might be right that Hamas grunts wouldn't blink at attacking US troops trying to help civilians who are supposed to be "their people", but Hamas leadership might well have enough brains to realize the US is getting tired with Israel and not want to jeopardize this by bringing their own bloodthirstiness into focus again.
