All of the “unsolved” songs are so atmospheric. This game is so freaking good.
It reminds me of the songs that play in the four regions in Majora's Mask.
That’s exactly what I was thinking
@@31darkstar37except the original zelda theme was playing when you restore a temple. It lacked original themes for each region.
musicalement oui, grâce à botw à qui il peut faire 3000 refs et se différencier légèrement nous rappelant les bons souvenirs de botw
The soundtrack as a whole is already outstanding, but this track specifically felt so special the moment I stepped into Rito Village
Same, it felt like, I have to help them.
beautiful song , I was shook
It's literally the song of storms!!
It was so eerie seeing the children run the stores, what i thought before i found teba is that the adults left their children for other villages which made it even more sad
same here! i was like why would they leave the kids!?
You would have known if you talked to them
@@jcgames4300 i did, they didn’t say anything about their parents I guess they were still joyful but it was weird they didn’t say anything about the adult rito which we find out later are scavenging for food
@@jcgames4300 When I talked to them I just saw a couple mentions of how only the children are around. I think one of the kids said something like, "It's up to us kids to take care of the village." No one explained the situation until I got up to Teba. So same as the other commenters, there was a while after just arriving at the village where I didn't know why the adult Rito were gone.
@@TheCoordinateThey didn't leave their children, they just went to scour up any food that they can find.
This hit me so hard when I arrived to the city. It's so familiar yet different. So spine chilling. Literally even. The sad and desperate vibes were real in this area
Completely, it's really my favorite village, the atmosphere and calm that reign there is so relaxing !
Yes! It took me a few moments to realize from where I knew this song from and that made it even better. So atmospheric.
Arriving at your fav village and listening to that song full of anguish... it's something that wanted to help rito immediately.
The joy I felt seeing Kass's kids again warmed me enough to fight off the blizzard.
A humble village suffering from famine and a harsh winter, the only permanent residents being that of the hatchlings, while the adults scrounge up what little food there is left.
I wish the snow stayed after you win. This theme and the aesthetics were unbelievable. But it just goes back to the old village. Snow rito is my favourite settlement in the game
@@co3305 ikr! i love the music so much, and snowy rito village looked stunning! i was so disappointed when the snow melted
@@co3305Gerudo town also deserves commendation-When I first stepped in I was in shock
@@Sylfposts haven't been there yet so can't say
@@Sylfposts Oh yea Gerudo Town was a shock.
I love how Dragon Roost is even more apparent here. They don't beat around the bush anymore, it's just right there.
Yeah I only noticed it playing totk, I never realized it was like that all along
Why am I just now realizing this
This feels so despondent especially with the solo whistle - a bird calling out to no response, trapped in their cage by a blizzard :( such a good track
It's so wierd. I just finished the Goron city dungeon, and that quest felt kind of humorous. Then I went to Rito village, my favorite village, and hearing this theme just hit deep. Desolate, dark, but still some beauty to the theme. I love this game.
this one is really good at encapsulating the feeling of a blizzard, you can just faintly hear the rito village theme under a desolate and empty layer
I prefer this version more than the regular theme. Its got a cold haunting tone but it's still a very beautiful and calm piece
everything is so cold up until 0:32. then, you hear these warm, light notes finally softly coming in. can't help but feel this perfectly captures the children stepping up to run the village in the blizzard. perfection man, masterful!
I think around this moment exploring the village and hearing this theme was when the game started to get really good.
This places atmosphere is indeed outstanding!
I arrived in rito village and I remember it was my favorite track in botw. Then I heard this. I really liked rito village and seeing children running the stores, people saying about the food shortage was so touching for me I just think: "Ok I will solve this main quest ASAP..."
THIS SONG SO BEAUTIFUL
so far, the best track
I teared up upon hearing this theme. The Hatchlings (had to) Grow up figuratively. Also emotional to see them older Physically ❤️
Yeah, I felt so bad for them, doing their best to put on cheerful faces and try and keep it together in the middle of a terrifying situation
When this is your second destination, it suddenly feels emptier than the fields you run past. The adults leaving their children to work while they go for help…
It can make anybody’s heart sink.
This is why the Rito are my favorite race in Zelda. This music is just amazing.
This is the first track I sat and listened through in the game. its so beautiful and haunting, definitley will come back many times in the future.
It sounds so desolate and cold compared to the original theme, which fits considering the village is trapped in an unstoppable blizzard.
bruh
One thing that really got me when i arrived at rito village was when i talked to the children and they said that they were gonna sing a song to try and save their village. It's so sad, my heart sunk and i knew i had to help them ASAP.
I dunno about you guys, but ganondorf is extra cruel on TOTK. I think it's the most evil version of him.
This is my favorite musical moment in the game so far. It's the perfect music for just walking around a mostly-deserted village, covered in a blanket of snow.
This music is disturbing... and I love it.
I love how the theme really is a some kind of remix of dragon roots island from wind waker :)
Y'know, this song fits perfectly the frozen rito village... Like it's a meek voice in a thundering blizzard. There are almost no adults left, they're all away searching for food and help. Everything is freezing cold, not a visitor in sight. The village that was so full of life and hope even back in BotW, is now on its last leg freezing to death.
Between this and the normal music I prefer this one tbh. It has this dark ere vibe to it and I just love it. Also, the high-pitched parts sound like rito children singing to me, which makes sense seeing as the majority of the adults fled.
Well its not that the adults fled. They’re the only ones who can fly out into the blizzard and search for food and supplies.
The littles Ornis running the stores and all else in the village, make my heart melt of such cuteness.
Those are some good little birds
Heard this for the first time, it makes me feel nostalgic, kid me getting my favorite cereal back then n watching something early Saturday morning in the 2000s
Winter lasted longer than usual where I live, with the snow FINALLY melting around Easter weekend. Seeing Rito Village and listening to this kinda gives me flashbacks to those winter storms a couple of months ago.
This version also kinda gives me Majora's Mask/Tropical Freeze vibes.
botw rito ost is my fav like i could listen to 10 hours of it and not get bored, so when i got it the village i literally had chills and had to stop.. it’s so haunting and beautiful in a way but the contrast from warm and cozy to desolate and chilly is INSANE
i also just read the comments and the fact this ost isn’t used afterwards is kinda sad, ig i’m just gonna chill and not do the story quest for a while !!
Rito Village looked and sounded sooo good in the snow setting. It sucked seeing the snow melt away.
Our of the dungeons I’ve done so far, however, this one and its boss were very easily my favorite in the game.
Music is insane. The way it makes you feel certain emotions is so cool, I love how well Nintendo incorporates music into Zelda games specifically. I remember walking to the entrance of the village and hearing this theme, I was heartbroken and it made me want to help them so badly.
Thank you for uploading this, I spent way too long finding this track. It hits the nail on the head that it you can feel the dispairity and sadness that the rito have gone through. It's a beautiful piece of music. It makes me a bit emotional listening to it
the entire rito questline was my tears of the kingdom
OH DRAGON ROOST HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN GONE?!?!
Yup, that’s going in the playlist
I like to imagine the Dragon Roost bit is the Rito still trying to hold out hope that they can get through the times they're going through, trying to remain strong.
It strongly reminded me of the frozen hyrule theme from four swords adventures which was a colder remix of the dark world theme
Feels so melancholic and haunting
When I first saw it, it instantly reminded me of the Goron village in Majora's Mask, except, this time around it was actually creepy. It was eerie to see how the only rito left in the village were the kids.
I always loved ice levels in games because the music in them is just so surreal
I wish I hadn’t had helped the rito with the weather, the vibes this place had was otherworldly
Does anyone else hear the spirit tracks over world theme
Can you please tell me where you heard it? Like a timestamp? I would love to know
@@digitoxsynth1905 2:12 I could just be crazy
0:23 is dragon roost island
Am I the only one who feels that this plus the themes from the other regions give off the same vibe as the song that plays in the regions in Majora's Mask?
I just got into this game as a old zelda fan. I immediately picked up the Wind Waker great sea soundtrack from this..
.it's so chillingly beautiful
Sorry, dragon roost Island
Everywhere at the end of Rito.
Rauru: link I need your help. ganon is up to some majora's mask shit
Rito Village/DRI themes never miss
I cannot stop thinking about her
This is a crazy good rendition of the song
IT'S DRAGON ROOST ISLAND!!
Instantly noticed it was following the same melody as from windwaker
Gives me Snowhead vibes from Majora's Mask. Love it
SONG OF STORMS
Dragon roost island
No
Both!
If you listen real close you can hear The Dragon Roost island theme!
Same with the finished or botw version
Love that the line at 0:28 sounds like the Russian Brotherhood song from Fullmetal Alchemist.
I’m playing the game again just to see the first part of the game again and I made it to Rito village before my first official blood moon
I didn’t realize how often I relied on Tulins ability so even though I wanted to run straight to Gannon I changed corse to bird village pretty quickly just to get that ability 😂
Most players walking into rito village: Wow this is sad. So much snow.
Me: where the heck is medoh?
😂
I've been wondering where the old towers and shrines went too... 🤔
@@Jay-uj2er Hmm... Does seem valid, since they just popped out of the ground in the beginning of BotW.
Not sure about Divine Beasts though. In just a short time (given that it might've been a year or two since the events of BotW), gigantic sturdy machines being scrapped?
@@hopeeverest Its implied that at least a few years have passed
After the whole “Calamity Ganon possessing all the ancient machines of war and turning them against those they were made to protect” thing, I REALLY don’t think the Divine Beasts would have any justification for continuing to exist. Just in case a threat like the calamity rises again.
…which it does. So be glad Medoh isn’t flying around and sniping anyone who tries to get up to that storm in the sky causing the blizzard.
@@hopeeverest It has definitely been more than a year or two, considering Hudson's daughter Mattison is like 5 years old (plus you have to count the 9 months of pregnancy) and Tulin is basically a teenager.
What a contrast from Goron city lol
Sounds like some alien type music love it
Idk why but this reminds me more of dragon roost island more than the botw version
Probably because a lot is literally the same melody as dragon roost
@@gabrspanksmen botw rito village had the same melody
Sadness and desolation 😢
I can't believe Nintendo made a sequel to one of the best games ever made.... and it's good.
rito village is the first area i came, my order i want from rito village, clockwise
Anyone find out if you can change the music back to this after Rito Village is thawed?
Nope not possible :/
This remains me of Metroid Prime
Gives real nier automata vibes
Nuclear winter simulator
download link plz
Isnt this the soundtrack from a studio ghibli movie? I swear it reminds me of something
You're thinking of Dragon Roost island from wind waker
as someone who went to the Rito first, this song hit me HARD. i was at the stable near the broken bridge and was building one out of logs i found around the stable. as soon as i put that bridge down and crossed the gap, i heard the creepy impact sound at the beginning of the song, and once i actually got near the village, the bells started playing. i sat there in front of my TV in shock for a few minutes just holding back my tears listening to this absolute masterpiece of a song. that reaction is something i'll remember for a long time.
walking around the frozen-over Rito Village, with barely anybody around, the entire village coated in a thick snowy fog, and THIS playing in the background.... there's something so unbelievably unsettling and maybe even SCARY about it, knowing how the music normally sounds and how the village normally is. storytelling like this is part of why i love Zelda games so much, it legitimately gave me chills
It was a shame BotW didn't have much for Rito Village despite all that beauty, but now we got EVERYTHING here.
...Though I was horrified learning about all the consequences going on in there. I personally believe Rito Village's situation being the harshest of them all.
Maybe scary is an overstatement but yeah i get your point
@@eer2050 I wouldn't say so. The thought of an entire village being gradually whittled away by an unending storm to the point where you wander through its skeletal remains is a pretty terrifying thought. Especially when considering how full of life it was in BOTW. Really puts into perspective how destructive the Gloom can get
@@hopeeverest I'd say pretty equal to Gerudo; they had a brutal sandstorm and zombies coming to kill them
Almost didn’t wanna save them because the music was so good!
exactly what i searched🔥
Seeing kass’ daughters running the village during the blizzard was so ominous at first (teba calmed me a bit)
I absolutely love this version, especially the first time I heard it upon arriving at Rito Village in TOTK. The rush of goosebumps was so immense I stopped in my tracks to listen, hearing it brought back so many WW memories
All of the main areas had their own unique sounds and vibes. I think my favorites were personally the ruins of gerudo village and rito village. They sounded so gloomy but peaceful at the same time.
Watch what happens when I cast a spell I don't know!
The only highlight for me in TOTK is this song so far
Yep all the other songs are just meh
Best unsolved theme
