I have the original cardboard Jollylook 👌🏻version that does both ‘regular’ photos as well as pinhole ones. it is a humbling experience in light and patience. Now and then it is good to go back to basics. kudos to the #Jollylook team for making unique cameras. oh and it has bellows!
I look forward to seeing the full review! Have you ever heard of Polacon by instant film society? You should check it out and see if you can make it this year.
I have heard of that. Was wanting to go this year but there’s hardly any info about it. Like no real videos or advertising to show what it’s all about. I messaged them asking about it and all they told me was go check out the posts on Instagram. But all there was were countdowns and talking about bands. Idk for me it’s hard to justify the expense to go not knowing what I would be getting myself into. Guess I need to start my own here in the PNW 🤔
Have you heard about the other kickstarter projects from them? Now doing a pinhole for the square format
Did you ever do a full review? Idk if I’m slow in finding it or it’s just not there lol
Are you going to make another video abut this camera after figuring out how to get a decent results with it? :)
Indeed I am!
I really wanted to love the jollylook and backed the original cardboard camera that looks really cool, but was just the worst, out of 8 cartridges and a family of 4 professional photographers we were able to get one semi descent picture. I'm hoping that the auto-mini that comes out in March might actually be a functional camera.
When are we gonna see the pictures?
Guess you didn't like the camera much after you shot some photos with it because it's been a year and you haven't made a follow-up video showing them. 🙂
I didn’t make a follow up video because the company did a kickstarter and hasn’t released the camera. But is still releasing new kickstarters. Kinda seems fishy. So I don’t want to give them more exposure until cameras start shipping.
I would be all over this if I hadn’t JUST went and got that Lomo square camera and I don’t know if my learning has enough curve in it for two “difficult-ish” type cameras 😅if you struggling I KNOW I’ll be struggling BUT I don’t mind paying a bit more down the road especially with a JAC guidance video to help me out!!!
I will definitely be doing a follow up video on this.
This is cool
Hello i have a question, is there any way to fix the flash on a Polaroid 635 cl?
I’m sure there’s a way but Im no expert in the repair field.
I think I linked this on your discord a while back!
Hello Chris I love your videos and I would like to ask for help on how to do light paintings(if you know how to do it) on a Polaroid now since I can seem to find anything online to help me?
The NOW doesn’t have the ability to do that. You will need to get yourself a onestep+ or a NOW+ then go into the app to set it up. but I would stay away from the NOW+ I have done a few videos about why that camera is no good.
I have their original camera and found it hard to use, especially focus ... I am intrigued by it ... I have a number of pinhole cameras, but don't feel the need for one. There is a app called Pinhole Meter that will help you with exposure as long as you know the f-stop!!!

Indeed!
I once made a pinhole camera from a cereal box and the photos had a light circle in the middle of the photos
That’s awesome!
Second!
