you're right about growing your own melon. once you taste one that was ripened all the way on the vine those store melons never taste the same. that is a nice size melon but if you want an even bigger one look for gingers pride melon seeds online. its like a cantaloupe that gets the size of a medium watermelon. i grew it and got 4 plates full from cutting one melon up.

That's a beauty ..... I don't have space for melons unless I try to trellis them on a cattle panel, and those would definitely need to be supported by a sling of some type. It sure does look good ..... thanks for posting, and take care.

I have not seen them sold anywhere, but you can sometimes buy the actual melon at Sam's or your local Asian super market.

I think they stopped producing them! I'm so aggravated. The store I used to get them at only carries the Sugar and Summer Kiss now, which are both excellent, but this one was by far my favorite. I knew I should have saved some seeds! Ugh.

Early morning is usually good. This way it's not too crazy hot and the plants will have time to take up what you fed them.

Khang, just started watching your channel. Videos have been very helpful. Just starting to try hydroponics for my peppers. Question for you. Have you every experimented using lemon juice to drop your PH or use liquid mycorrhizae in your nutrients?

I don't suggest using lemon juice, or vinegar as balance pH as those are very temporary. pH will rise in a few days and your plants will struggle. I don't use liquid mycorrhizae as they are way too expensive.
