Solid video for people who didn't know this. Sub weapons you can max out at anytime because they dont cost anything to equip and at max rank they give you 10 capacity, and if you put the catalyst in the sub weapon slot, it gives you 5 more capacity on top of it for a total of 15 extra capacity at max rank. (so you can hit that 85 capacity on descendants.)
i didn't know any of this and I super appreciate the forward approach of 'this is what i'm talking about, here it is, and here's how to find it yourself' approach. Super clean execution with the menus too, instead of looping over gameplay of 1000 things happening while explaining nothing. Thanks for taking the time to value my time!
Great info. Just something to add, When using the Energy Activator, that is not the final total capacity because increasing Mastery level will increase the capacity. That said, the Crystalized Catalyst will also allow you to level your Mastery faster as you re-level your Descendant. Can't wait to catch a stream, keep up the great info and content. (Glad you stopped calling it "Cooper" lol)
yeah I have been arguing about this, it kills ability the ability to try out different builds with a single Descendant, due to the mat grind and cost to mod these slots (weapons not so much as you can share those across Descendants). So for instance right now I have 2 build I am thinking of for Bunny and Add-Clear and a Boss DPS well both take different module types - so if I choose unwisely I will have socket / slot types that could penalize what I put in there (i.e. if you say have a M type slot but need to add an R, it actually turns the items read and increases the cost +2). I think long term they are going to have reduce the costs to allow for changes.
@@junichi8369 I am not worried about Keiper or or gold (which are what? Basic/Core mats), the specialized mats for true min/maxing can take some time. I am also not worried about the grind personally as I have plenty of time to do looters and arpgs (10K hours in Destiny 1/2, 3600 in Div1/2, 250hrs per season for Diablo as examples) but I specifically was talking about folks that don't have the time like casuals (which make up a large % of these games). I also note that it kills build variety which is the staple to most of these games. Which is why I stated they will eventually have to change the mat economy, all the games I mentioned changed RNG rates and reduced number of mat types.
Good info, however if you don't mind a tip. Don't use polygenic antibody (all resistance) it's not worth the equip cost, nor the materials needed to upgrade it. A base antibody (not upgraded) provides more than the fully upgraded. And your external components provide one of each type which is also higher than the fully upgraded polygenic.
@@ZoxLoots early on indeed. I would say until gulch resistances don't matter, just get your hp and defenses up. Afterwards (especially colossus fights) it does, and at that point the numbers required are so big that polygenic is just a waste. Just meant as a friendly tip and advice tho ^^
Nice video. Maybe there is no need to read the ingredients list but focus more on why or why not to use these items. For example, you could have mentioned thinking about saving it for the ultimate variant of the descendant.
Question for you guys: my bunny is level 40 and i used the items required to get it to 70 mod capacity. If i buy the ult bunny, do i need to expand the capacity again or will it transfer over from standard bunny?
@@inis99999 stats are a little bit higher, but the bigger difference is in the modules that can equipped. There are some reserved for Ultimate characters only.
@@hawkalypse7329I think it's also because when you upgrade the red module itself (not the socket), it decreases the amount of capacity cost it takes up.
I used the energy activator first on my Ajax and then used the catalyst and now my module limit is 70 got it to level 40 and it got stuck at 70 what should I do
Question, if you place a cat mod in one socket for a weaker gun and you get a higher level gun of the same type later...does that catalyst mod still stay in place for the higher leveled gun???
I could be wrong but I think the poster meant that if you played WF then this is easy to figure out. To think that anyone would get to lvl 100 and not know this is crazy😂😂

@@neberboi yes you can tf
Gg for that bit of info 👍
@@chrisarmstrong8447 its just warframe logic but i appreciate it either way.
What do you mean by sub weapons??
Thanks for this explanation. I’m finding a lot of descendant videos don’t have good breakdown of how things work in this game.
If you do the bunny quest you get a free crystalization catalyst at the end
For real, thank you, I gonna do right now 😮
Happy bday bunny

Out of all the videos I been watching yours are def the best. Super easy to understand this game when you explain it.
Probably the best explanation of these I have seen
Honestly the best video I’ve found explaining this thank you!
Honestly brother, great video. Good quality audio and video, great tips and amazing follow up and explanation. Thank you, Zox.

The fact you say you play bunny is kinda funny. Considering you can farm kuiper very fast and efficiently very quickly with a proper farming build

Well, you could use regular Bunny and Ultimate Bunny for different purposes. But ideally, Bunny would be full farm and build another one for bosses.
Max hp and defence modules are useful for any build, so I'd be dropping catalysts on those modules first to be set for any build

What module socket types should I choose for Bunny during reset? Help

Thanks for the explanation

Yeah.. The max-up you get early on in the game, I accidentally used it on a sniper rifle instead of my tamer without even thinking about it..

Really good video man loved evert second
I still don't understand what doing this actually does
good video thanks
So for your Descendant... basically, do not use a catalyst until you're max mastery rank? For max slots?
I used the energy activator first on my Ajax and then used the catalyst and now my module limit is 70 got it to level 40 and it got stuck at 70 what should I do
So you need one for each socket you apply the change to?
Yes

Straight forward and logical and completely unexplained or intuitive by the game.
Is anyone else running Lepic as their main character after reaching hard mode?
So when you prestige, as you call it, do you get mastery rank exp again for leveling up that character again?
No only the first time counts towards master rank

Why aren’t u using any of the craftable ultimate weapons? Just doing thr campaign I got 3 crafted
