This is my favorite song from Skrillex's new EP, Bangarang. I LOVED performing it, even though it was one of the most challenging covers I've ever done by ear and took several hours to put together. Enjoy!

I know y'all gonna dislike but some people actually like dub step.
Dubstep is repetitive, there's no arguing against that. So that's one aspect that works against it. Sometimes dubstep and other electronic pieces are really good in terms of composition, and I think most notably Savant is an absolute genius when it comes to composition, but the usual electronic instrumentation seems cheap and unintelligent to many people. It's not that they don't understand dynamic filtering(most music has that, even classical), it's just that they expect the focus to be on more than just that, and dubstep often neglects other aspects that are important to enjoying music.
All in all it's a genre that isn't bad on its own merits, but it's composed for a niche that is overly entertained by things that go "braaahp wob wob", so it overuses those cheaper elements, and excludes a huge demographic from enjoying it.
Most dubstep is absolutely terrible, like most rock, most metal, most pop, most classical, most caveman music etc. I think we should all just come to terms with the fact that thinking in terms of genre is useless and contributes nothing. Music sucks dick, and every once in a while you find music that doesn't, well nice find, but that's not thanks to the genre you happen to want to label it as, it's because someone good at music made a song.
When listening to this I completely forgot what the original song sounded like and this sounds so much more amazing than I remember

Considering that the original song's music video is about a young man who regrets what happened during a childhood heist of an icecream truck, I think it fits that it's sad when you play it on piano. :)

Oh........my........god. This is so amazing. I started teaching myself piano recently and decided to start watching some videos. I have so much respect for anyone who can play such a beautiful instrument and turn dubstep into a masterpiece.

I don't think it's 100% offensive what you said in regards to that particular statement since it comes from more of a positive yet relative opinion. What makes it bias is the fact that it's a judgmental statement because there is no actual or real logic behind a certain race as a whole that possess specific abilities. And even if the comment can seem nice and complementing in your eyes and others it unfortunately leans toward the line of racism, because racism isn't only defined as an intolerance or negative standpoint towards a race but a belief all on it's own that human races have inherent differences and characteristics that help determine a cultural or an individual achievement which usually involves the idea that a race is more superior or inferior at something. As you can see simply from someone commenting on your remark even the smallest notion of racial implication can cause controversy. It's interesting because Americans specifically have trouble defining and understanding race because race typically by definition correlates to the origin in which a person or persons ancestry originated but today race plays more biologically such as physical traits and skin color but think about it, when you say Asian it involves a huge race that contains countries from South Asia like India, Iraq, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, but Americans usually never refer to them as "Asians". Central America ( a sub continent) and South America fall under the category of American Indian or Alaska native but we never use those terms either in reference, we typically say things like Mexicans or Latino vs Hispanic. So when you see this girl playing and judge her by the physical traits you see and attempt to assume she just possess such abilities it can fall under racial terms. If you were to see a person say from India in this video it can be assumed many of these comments wouldn't say anything about them being Asian and that's why they play the piano amazingly. I can see where certain races have biological differences that MAY attribute and be recognizable to better advantages, but it's best to stay away from categorizing someone's abilities to do something good or bad by their race. A lot of a persons values or definition of character closely coincides to their environment and societal culture and even the ethnicity their family revolves around. Countries like China take the importance of education much more vigorously which can affect certain achievements more positively and more noticeable but that's their society and still it doesn't guarantee a person who's considered Chinese/Asian or say one who is Caucasian a better chance at something. I believe this girl is amazing because she devoted the time in practicing and became extremely good at it from that and if music did come easier to her I would presume it had more to do with her very own genetic makeup rather than her phenotype/race as a whole. :)
