I liked that hoist you was using. That knife done a good job on those tree limbs. The saw driver done an out standing job on cutting the tree down and sawing it up. (Mississippi Gulf Coast, USA).

I just can not believe that 1 blade did all that. No stretch of the blade that he needed to adjust. I have a smaller version of the saw, and cutting down 3 palm trees of 18 inch diameter took 2 blades and many stops to take out the slack in the chain during cutting. It looks what I would class as a hardwood tree, but it cut so easily, so is it a soft wood tree ?
my main Stihl is a ms391 but use my ms250 a lot too. i always use a full chisel chain on both. the Stihl yellow is great or an Oregon. the green chain with anti-kick just doesn't cut well. i cut mostly maple, oak or tamarack.
