I wish there was more of an audio version of this…. I listen while driving (I drive a refrigerated truck hauling food) and would like to hear voices talk about SFBOL other than Paul’s. (I’ve nothing against Paul, but hearing different takes is often really helpful in learning the nuances of the client based on the game I played in the 90’s.
I know the computer version is quicker, but old school games NEED to be played old style. I started in 79 n played till the final set of rules...took a darn long time but well worth it. Loved those small supplement rule books. It takes a lot of love to go through all that. How a bout no dizzy pop up screens for a change...get out those grease pencils.
I've started organising & playing SFB games at the South Dorset Military Society meetings, at Entoyment, The Alpha Centre, Fleets Bridge, Poole. We play TOS Micro Machines / Starline 2500 / Call To Arms 1/3125 scale models on large hex mats.

I'd suggest requesting ADB release term papers in audio format. SFB is too esoteric for on the fly conversation for most people.

Most players are playing online now because there are no other local players.
