Dear Marta - this is such a great idea!! I have watched people in the cafe making and sharing their stamps. Of course mine will be different but I have some ideas now of what to use. You are the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very creative idea! I’ve tried something similar using junk mail envelopes that already have postmarks. But I haven’t tried your technique. Thanks for sharing! Really love it. Once my bread knife broke when the handle came off. It was a serrated edge like the decorative edged scissors. I used it to tear page edges. Possibly someone can use an old serrated knife to make the edges for the faux stamps.
Go on eBay and search for "postage stamps" + "kiloware" you will find real postage stamps that are decorative and have real post marks but are not of sufficiently good condition to be suitable for collecting. They are sold by the pound, ounce or kilogram. I recently bought a pound of kiloware on eBay. The price was $30 delivered. After picking out about 1000 for my collection and separating out another 2500 to resell in small lots to collectors, I have about 20 square feet of stamps that are still useful for art projects. I have not yet determined my project but I believe that even after I have removed all the ones that are worthy of a collection, the 20 square feet of stamps (or about 12 if you overlap them like shingles) is well worth $30 as raw materials for a project and probably still less expensive than the fake stamps used in this video. My mother once paid $1500 for a sofa brand new from a furniture store because it looked like a beautiful old antique. Meanwhile I bought a genuine antique sofa from a genuine antique store for $500 that was far nicer. If you know where to look you can often get the real thing cheaper than a fake. Oh and more than half of the stamps that I got this most recent time are well over 100 years old and about 10% date to before 1890 and are from over 100 countries.
YOU ARE SUPER CUTE MARTA, LOVELY TO LISTEN TO, SO HAPPY, AMAZING IDEAS, EASY TO FOLLOW AND YOU DONT MEASURE YOU JUST DO YOUR OWN THING AND I LOVE IT.....THESE ARE SO WONDERFUL.....IRELANDS SO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU. CAMILLE AUSTRALIA
Love to watch your videos very early in the morning around three. I adore your family as mine are all grown up and out of house. Lots of ideas that your share so openly with us all. Love love love you. Nancy Faust - South Africa
I love Love LOVE this faux postage stamp idea! I've always loved stamps any how...its the art aspect of their creation which I am intrigued by. The images on the stamps begin as actual works of art, and the whole process of how they come to be is complicated, and very interesting. As always, I ENJOY your channel, and look forward to the next video. You cover such a broad range of projects, so its fun to find out what's next! tfs ~ BLESSINGS ~
I watched this when you put this video up but I got so busy making faux stamps that I forgot to comment! Thank you for your enthusiastic inspiration ✉❤
You certainly have the Midas Touch when it comes to "on the fly" creativity!! Wow... ALL of those methods turned out amazing! I love them all! At the beginning of your video, I thought those were REAL postage stamps you had cut and saved off envelopes,... SO fun and pretty! I hope you can also show us how you plan to use them as elements in other projects. The only things that come to my mind are a travel or "Bon Voyage" greeting card, or travel journal. Wonderful presentation & outcome! Thank you for sharing! I think I might just give it a try!
Love love love this idea. I belong to a card making group and I am going to make them to share with the group and share your RUclips sight. Please keep up the amazing wonderful videos. I know you are very busy with your beautiful girls but we all appreciate the time you share your genius talent with us. Hugs to you and you family. Ludmila
So lovely Marta❣ i just love it! Thanks again for sharing a wonderful tutorial. I love to watch and learn so much from you.. God bless you and your lovely family💖💖💖 Huggs from the ❤ TFS dear😊💜🌈
Such a great idea, Marta. You have once again created something cute & gorgeous!! May I also say how thrilled I am for you! Seeing other crafters showcasing your amazing new products ~ must be brilliant?!! Get ready for even more packing📦📦. Tyfs.C 😉👏🐾🐾
You can cut them with straight scissors, then make the stamp edge by using a single hole punch all the way round the edge, only punch half holes to create the inverted scallops.... 😁
Love everything that you create! You're so talented...Love your videos & your accent is so Great! You make Me so Happy & you're so inspiring! Keep up the Amazing videos!👍😊💖
I just found your channel and love all the great and simple ideas you gave. I’m new to paper crafting and it can be overwhelming sometimes, but this I know I can do. Thanks.
They are addictive!! This evening I made a least 50. So much fun. I used Tim Holtz tissue papers (birds, flowers, etc.). Then I grabbed my wide washi. I found the best way to use the washi was to cut off the piece I wanted and put it on a paper and then cut around them with the stamp effect scissors. Getting late now, so I'll do my stamping tomorrow.
Incredibly adorable and fun crafting some great looking epherma! I have about 10 of the different border scissors never used so glad to have an idea for them! You're the best Marta!
So many wonderful ideas. I am wondering, do you treat your dried flowers and leaves with anything? They don’t seem to be brittle and falling to pieces. I appreciate the way you always find alternate ways for us to make things. Thank you, Marta
fabulous idea as usual ! I had the tea stained paper and was thinking what to do for stamps... then magic your great video. ! thanks so much . take care
This would be great to teach even very young children to make. I am picturing them as fabric labels on clothing; or as a company's logo on business cards, envelopes, letterheads, & package seals; & as jewelry pins, pendants, & earrings. They might become as popular as emojis! Fun for kids to collect & swap!
What a cute & fun idea! Marta when I subscribe to your channel I had no idea about the notification 🔔 . Every night I would check your channel to see if you had any new video, but now I’ll get notified YAY😃😃😃🤠!!!
I have done these, they are so much fun, just using up scraps ! Love all the new ideas you gave Marta, did not think of using dried flowers or washi !! Cool! I happened to be given the decorative scissors that look like a postage stamp edge so used them.

Great idea! I'm searching for scalloped patterns through the house and this is what actually might work. I have none of the supplies
great idea, i was rather thinking of punching holes wit sewing machine
