Jon can only win through grappling. And DC had an extremely hard time getting stipe to the ground so I know Jon would too. Outside of that stipe is too durable at his peak. Jon wouldn’t have the power to get him out of there. AND Jon’s main weakness in his career have been tall fighters specifically with great boxing and that is literally stipe. And you can do a lot with B tier wrestling/grappling. Look at Dominick Reyes. I’d barely give him a C

Stipe is 40 and I know he's heavyweight etc but he's past him prime, got almost killed by Ngannou so I can't see Jon cementing anything by beating Stipe. I think beating Curtis blaydes, Tom aspinall and other heavyweights with decent grappling helps his case more.
