I am using my own dataset, which does not have a date column. When I use the DAX for normal distribution, I was able to call a INT([Date]) but my normaldistribution table only has 2 values. Do you by any chance know why that is?
This is great and I was easily able to recreate this with my dataset using the exact dax. However, I would like to modify this to represent the distribution by a different metric (Age). I want to see the distribution of the values of my dataset by the age of the person in the dataset (which I have as a column) - I believe your current formula for x uses CALENDAR which might be what I need to change, but I am not 100% sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You are moving in the right direction, but the catch is here X column is a calcuated column , basically it contrain -3 Sigma to +3 Sigma limit of your data. In you are example yes age column will be focusing column and X clmn can be created using it. and for your information we have freelancing also, you need any kind of support in Power BI Dashboard building and report making of in excel then kindly do contact : hpnik99@gmail.com Thank you :)
@@teresacristinamartinez9479 - Hi, I am just starting to use PowerBI - is there any tutorial on how to use fields paramaters to filter the sample data set ?
I get an error message when creating the f(x). I see there are two (( after EXP, but after making this one, I still get the error that a single value for column x cannot be determined
Hello Mr.Pauw, thank you for approaching me. Very shortly i will share the PBIX file also, and for your information we have even started free lancing also, kindly let me know if you need any kind of support. [Contact: hpnik99@gmail.com ]
When I encountered this error, I found that my original dataset had three columns. Reducing it simply to the data set helped me get past that error on f(x)
Easily one of the best videos I've seen on visualizing Standard Distribution in Power BI, thank you!
Timely help.. Thank you.

can you give link to this pbix or the text instructions? would be immensely helpful

How would I go about creating a dynamic bell curve where I choose what dataset column is visualized based on a slicer drop-down?
you could use field parameters in power bi for this.

Could you be able to share the pbix file? especially for f(x) calculation
How could this transferred to excel / powerpivot?
Bro❤
Great video!
Would it be possible to get the notepad.txt file?
Where is the Sample Dataset?
I have used sample data available from power bi tool itself.
hi, ive left an email for you, asking a question. Thank youu
