      It's a really sad song isn't it? :<
Japanese songs always hit different, like this one is about Golden Child Syndrome (A girl with uncaring parents that only love her if she is successful, so she does everything to gain their approval and love) and I feel like no English song could represent it like this.

Alright, before I say anything, I wanna give compliments and credit where it's due. This mini-series of lyric pranks you made were really well made and I did enjoy watching them, especially since there was an actual story behind them which most texting stories don't have. That being said, I also felt kinda uncomfortable watching both videos due to the real meaning behind both songs. I'm not as well versed in Aishite, Aishite, Aishite (the one used in this video), but I still know fine well that this song is far from romantic in any way. It's supposed to be a song about a child seeking love and approval from unaccepting parents/parental figures, in other words, Golden Child syndrome. Why people have started commonly using it to represent yanderes and the like, I don't know, but the fact is that it's nothing like that. Similarly, If I Killed Someone For You (which I do know a lot about because Alec Benjamin has been one of my favourite artists for years) is about someone changing and even physically destroying themselves until they seem like a completely different person all for the sake of someone accepting them, not unrequited love or even actually murdering people (which I know is a path you didn't take, but I've seen other people use it so I thought I'd bring it up anyway). Again, credit where credit is due, these videos were really well made and good on you for that, but I feel like a bit of education is needed here so that more people are aware of what these songs actually represent. Also, please don't feel like you have to take down or remake this mini-series to change the songs you used for it just because of this comment. Feel free to keep them up, just be wary of the true meaning behind these songs and maybe do a bit more research into the meaning of songs you use in future lyric pranks so this sort of thing doesn't happen again. I'm sorry if I sound rude for making this, but I thought it would be worth it regardless.

Thank you for taking the time to respond with such care, it means a lot to me! Thank you for informing me about the meanings! Both of the songs are very real considering it’s origin, backgrounds, etc. I know that If I Killed Someone For You is about hiding behind this mask you built for someone you “love”-rather, obsessive tendency’s for this person enough to drive you to create a facade and hide behind this persona...and Aishite, was actually something I’ve listened to countless times without truly knowing the whole meaning to. So thank you for that knowledge, I really hate being ignorant and should have considered these things :( so truly thank you for notifying me this! I had some idea, but not to the full extent. I knew that it definitely had something to do with metal health and the want to become more... thank you for this review! :) it really helps me to become better and educates me just as much! And you weren’t rude at all! You’re just being truthful!
