We'd like to announce some improvements to the Daikin Stylish range FTXA air conditioners. The upgrades are intended to increase the competitiveness of these units in the market.
Key points: "Digital" upgrade, removal of Blackwood color from December 2023, Changes to pipe diameters for class 42, New material names for indoor units and outdoor units, Logo changes for indoor units and outdoor units.
What has changed?
Portfolio optimization.
The Stylish portfolio will be reduced to include only three color variants, in line with the Emura portfolio and as a result of market demand: White, Silver and Black. The Blackwood color will be phased out by the end of 2023.
Digital upgrade.
Stylish indoor units will be upgraded to the latest generation of RA hardware. This will enable the following new and important features:
Faster unit setup and connection to the Onecta app
All the functions of the remote control are available in the Onecta application;
Main new features: Intelligent thermal sensor switching, 3-D Airflow, operation in silent mode of the outdoor unit, Econo Mode available in the weekly timer.
Indoor and outdoor units as well as in combination with Multi (MXM-A9) and Multi + (MWXM-A9) are available in the Onecta application.
Technical specification update
All technical specifications remain unchanged except the pipe diameter for class 42 units. Basically, this means that class 42 units will have the same pipe sizes as class 35.
Compatibility.
All combinations remain unchanged except class 42.
The ASYCPIR reducer will only be required for new outdoor units and current indoor units combinations and only for class 42 units. Please keep an eye on unit availability as soon as sales switch to the RXA42B9, until the FTXA42C is available, the reducer will be a mandatory accessory for Stylish class 42 combinations.
Logo shape and position
On the indoor unit, the logo changes its position, moving to the middle.
On the outdoor unit, the logo changes shape, adopting a horizontal layout.
