Talking about the ESP32: "Where we're going to be in 2-3 years time nobody really knows" - well, 5 years later and we're still using ESP32.
ESP32-S3 maybe?
I'm still struggling with python. :/ I'm doing that "invent with python" stuff so I have a project to build on the basics, but as an electronics geek, I'm going to get a pyboard, so I hope I'll probably do pretty well after that.
