Thanks, Timur! Yes I agree, our vehicles (especially the newer ones with Whelen Core) look amazing and I've been very lucky to be able to capture so many running their sirens as of late! Usually they seem to prefer a silent approach.
You're not wrong! The 2022+ Explorers come equipped with Whelen siren tones. The whole equipment setup for that model year onward is different from the older ones.
@@MTL.911 The heck happened with the equipment from Zone Technologies? Too costly to install them, so they bought the vehicles "right-out-of-the-shelf", with lightbar and sirens installed at the assembly line?
@@sasgrafix No, nothing like that. The department's quality, warranty and functionality standards for warning equipment simply increased. Most of what Zone sells is Chinese or Taiwan-manufactured garbage (IMHO) that no longer meets the SPVM's requirements. They have moved on to using products from reputable name-brand manufacturers such as Whelen, Federal Signal, and SoundOff Signal.
Very cool compilation!!
The cars look great and the sirens are funky (it just seems like they often avoid using them lol).

I have seen some new changes in the ford explorer 2020. The lightbar has changed and also the sirens.
Good eye! The 2022+ Explorers have Whelen Cenator lightbars and Whelen siren tones (both the same as the SQ).
@@MTL.911 Thank you.
what the green beacon for in the back of some vehicles ?
It's to identify the position of the command post on a crime scene.
Do they still have the hi-lo sirens for the cruisers?
I don't believe that the siren controllers on the new Explorers have a button for a hi-lo tone.
Oh okay
Awesome catches
Thank you!
Nice catches man
Thanks!
« How bureaucratic do you want our fleet to look? »

@@MTL.911 I'm curious about that Charger at 4:06. Isn't that the same siren they use in Quebec City? Very weird hearing it in Montreal.
@@arousedyoda This is a recycled, older siren from Signaflex. I think the company doesn't exist anymore...
