Lane when working at White &Shannon retail Furniture store , in that building was also Oranges Academy. Remember after work going to shop at Royal Avenue and the Newspaper Lad would be selling The Belfast Telegraph, he would be yelling at the top Of his lungs *Read all about it ! He used to stand outside The General Post Office Yes Belfast was my beloved Town, I married my teenage Sweetheart We had 5 children by the time we were 30yrs The. With the outbreak of the troubles It was time to consider immigration to Canada in 1980 at the invitation of my mothers Brother , he advised with us having To consider the effects of Maggie Thatcher's new economic policies Intended to reverse high inflation inthe Winter of Discontent and an oncoming recession So here I am now a retired Senior pensioner Enjoying viewing this marvellous film 👏 Mary Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦
