I love this and I'm glad they're trying to expand to other countries. Honestly, I'd love to go travel and try them though 😭 Gives me a reason to go do something for the first time in forever. Anyways, I love your videos Dave! Keep up the great content and I appreciate you🙏💙
The way the hot pot was finished off was very Korean. This would give Korean hot pot an identity. Chinese and Japanese hot pot would normally enjoy the remaining soup that has all the flavors of the ingredients cooked into.
Just want to add that I'm not attacking him, but rather a bit concerned. It's a K-Food Tour: Dave is born American, but Korean at heart. Perfect candidate, but I hope he wasn't obligated to speak full English because of the American half. If you read this, Dave, I hope you're okay! And I'm sorry if I misunderstood everything
Survey done! I think any of these places would succeed in Federal Way, Washington as we have a huge population of Korean and other Asian descent. So most here have open minds to Korean cuisine. Plus there is a “foodie” culture here, so I think these places will “trend” well in this area.
Really making me miss Korea man... I'm guessing the sponsor wanted you speaking English for the video? Was honestly so awkward seeing you speak English for that duration. You seemed almost out of breath ahaha. I definitely prefer you reviewing stuff in Korean, but will always be a fan, Dave. Cheers, from Canada
I live in China and literally just came home from eating Gamjatang for dinner (at a local Korean restaurant) for the first time to this video and Dave eating gamjatang.
Dave! I cannot believe you ate so much food in one day! 😱 I mean I would probably have eaten as much as you did, but still I was like there’s no way he filmed this in one day, he probably just ate out everyday once a day (so like you filmed this within a few days) but no… But nonetheless, I loved the video!
Survey is completed! I really hope some or all of these restaurants come here to the US. There's not really the opportunity to try any of those dishes here unless you get really lucky with some small family-run Korean place in your town.
I love to dip everything in 떡볶이 sauce. I dip, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, sausage, 김밥, fries, grilled KBBQ meat (non-marinated), any 전 (Korean pancakes, or Korean dishes that are pan fried dipped with egg), mix the sauce with rice, Korean dumplings, lumpia, egg rolls, hard boiled eggs, add ramen noodles, and so much more possibilities.
It's been a long time since I last ate authentic golbaengi! I miss it a lot! Been wanting to cook golbaengi at home, but it's hard to find canned moon snail in PH
Considering which teams kinda constitute "America's sports teams" it's not surprising. I'm sure this was filmed well before the world series in any case.
It's been a while since I last watched Dave's video, I thought that's why something's different. But someone pointed out that he was speaking English throughout the video. Maybe that's why it feels different for me. 🤔
Thats not how you eat shabu shabu, you're not suppose to leave it in the hotpot to cook for long. Should just dip it for like 5 seconds so the meat is still very soft
I hope you can do a food crawl again with Josh and Ollie when they come to visit!!
omg yes amen to that

I love this video. Also, "English English English" cracked me up. 😂
Probably someone forgot to edit in the English. One also only had ''eng'' lol
@@unionfire A few that I noticed. Still, it was mostly stuff Dave was also saying, so it wasn't a problem even for us non-Korean speakers.

I love the introduction of the hot pot place as "high end" "real deal" and then Dave walks in wearing a t-shirt and hoodie with a baseball cap XD
Are high end restaurants in Seoul require some kinds of dresscode?
@@FHK_88 some of them, yes. In some places you have to dress formally.

Ok
Dave serving the long videos 💯 Thank you for working so hard to bring your content to life, as always 🙌
Nothing like some 10:30am chicken and beer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
it feels weird to hear dave speak in english lmao
I agree and he seemed very... monotone in this video. Idk if it's bc he did this in full english or maybe it's just me
haven't seen dave speak this much english in a single video since he was on the dive studios podcasts

Dave가 "네" 하는거 for some reasons, it is very soothing.
Wow, you're really inspire me to have my second dinner right now .. would love to have these food available in Bali 💜
Would love to see these places in the US! At least in my area, there aren't any great Korean spots other than, maybe, "K-Pot" lol

I cant say I'm a food expert but I think anything fried goes well with tteokbokki sauce. 😊
Could you maybe do a video where you show some vegan/vegetarian-friendly spots in Seoul? It would be very helpful for some people🌱
Dave, everything goes well with tteobokki sauce. Why were you surprised?
Dave, you're from Atlanta and they just won the World Series!
don't wear a Yankees hat!~
Maybe hes just Yankee fan!
