It pisses me off that almost every great version of the characters look great in the animated movies than in live action. Luthor was always played as a comedy bad guy or a over the top character on movies or tv.

In BvS this translates to a Mark Zuckerburg type so why not get the guy who played Mark Zuckerburg to play him? He's a New Age Tech Moggle. It was that, Steve Jobs or Elon Musk. Elon's to Laid back, A Steve Jobs Lex would have worked but Lex is the hands on type when push comes to shove and IMO Jobs just just wasn't Evil enough, of the Three Ol' Markie Mark was just the right kind of Egomaniac Sociopath to do Lex justice.

Jesse Eisenberg was the wrong person to cast as Lex in BVS and Justice League, and of course, the crappy script. Don't get me wrong; I think Jesse is a good actor but just not right for the role. He might play a good Riddler.
