Towa and Marine are just too good. If you add every race they did in this collab, they got a combined total of 527 points (289 from Towa and 238 from Marine). But Okayu also did very well with 231 points total.
Yeah these three are definitely one of the top five in terms of Mario kart, also kinda looking forward to another one since apparently some of the Holomem is practicing Mario kart

The only ones who managed to win a Race against Aqua are Marine, Fubuki, Suisei and Luna, so that should also be considered 2nd Towa, it's pretty difficult to choose between she and Suisei honestly, especially since the only times we've seen them Racing against each other Towa had a lot of connection problems. But since Suisei participated in a total of 16 races, and Towa 42, I think it's fair to Just Edge It for Towa. She only finished bottom 3 twice, but she is still behind Marine by a sliver. 6th is pretty hard, there are 3 good options, but I believe Luna is the best to put here. It's hard since Fubuki and Luna havent raced against each other much, and in the only 4 races between the 2 we dont have Fubukis POV. Pekora is another option, but she is more inconsistent than Luna, so I decided it's fair to put her here. Luna participated in 22 races, finishing top 3 in 11 of them, 50% being an extremely good record. 7th Fubuki, I first thought Pekora should be here but, Fubuki has a little better record against Pekora in 1 v 1. They raced against each other 12 times, and 7 times Fubuki did better, 5 Pekora. They're about the same level, but when Pekora does well, she does really well, and Fubuki is more consistently in 3rd-6th. Fubuki raced in 16 races, finishing top 3 a total of 9 times, but only winning 2 races. But since in both of them, Aqua was present at those races, it's a big achievement for Fubuki. 8th Pekora, Just like Marine, Pekora participated in every collab/Tournament of the JP side of Hololive, 54 times in total. In overall cups (so a total of 4 races, aside from the first Cup in 3rd gen vs 4th gen collab which was 6 races), she only finished 1st once, tied with Okayu in Group A of the first tournament in 2019. But she still performa pretty well, out of 54 races, she finished top 3 in 15 times, most of the time finishing 2nd or 1st. But Pekora is really inconsistent compared to everyone I've listed before, finishing bottom 3 in 8 occasions. 9th Shion, it's pretty hard to rank her, since she only raced in the most recent collab, never in a tournament. I know the voice sounded like Marine in the background but when you go to Pekora's pov or even Aki's, it's clear it's Pekora and it's complete with her coarse awkward laugh. You just have pay attention to recognise the coarse laugh that followed the phrase "Eroi!"

honestly I don't think the communications mattered that much. Marine and Towa are just by far the best two and by them both being on the same team that creates this effect where they sort of buffer for each other combined with the clean driving that allows them to commonly break apart from the entire rest of the field. besides that pekora and subaru are both decent and aki seemed to do better than I've seen her do before in those 4 races. It just wasn't very balanced teams especially with kanata seeming to do particularly bad for her form and why the hell am I analyzing hololive mario kart lmao
It doesn't help Marine and Towa much as they are op on their own, but it definitely helps the other members. Aki got middle throughout the 4 races is a good indicator, as red team snipe the blue members at critical point. Considering Aki and Nene actually compete for last spots in singles.
