Two DRs set up for adventures in my shed which were built by Vince's team. Great bikes, great people.

Hi, I’ve been watching your videos, and wanted to say thankyou for creating and sharing your experiences. I love riding bikes, and can never stop thinking of the next adventure.
    I also have a DR 650 currently.
    Well done 👍✌️

Just wondering why the filling up of the extra hole in the slide. Was considerung adding it, now a conumdrum

Well I was taking the bike back to stock and I believe the person who modified it in the first place did it incorrectly
If you have the right needle position, jet and can tune it well .. drilling the hole might work for you as many people think… I personally am happy with the stock throttle response.
I also trust Suzuki’s engineering and Vince Strang more than procycle
      Your choice though
Was the rejet video to help you decide further

Also read the comments, a lot of people disagree with myself and Vince

The extra hole in the slide doesn't give more power nor use more fuel. What it does is make your throttle input more responsive and touchy. Great for times when you blip your throttle to lift your front over ruts or logs. Some people like a touchy throttle, some people don't.

Ya teasing us mate with the fuel consumption issue. Binding brakes?

      Haha, that was the plan
You have to find out in episode when I go on a 3 day ride with Vince and his mates .. soon !
No the brakes . Something very simple

@@unbuckledadventures Don't disappoint me. I want to see the issue fixed with an ice cream stick and an old tooth paste tube. It was a bit weird seeing you throwing so many new parts at the carb.

@@volvogt21 hahaha I understand your concern, Ill try be as unbuckled as possible in the future.
but I didn't trust the previous work done on it and wanted to take it back to stock, My mate also gave me the stock needle and stock jet he took out of his carb when he installed the precycle jetting kit.

@@unbuckledadventures totally get your and Vince's attitude re stock. Hell, if you managed to get 6 more horsepower out of it then it would still be 1 down on an old 95 BMW F650 funduro I have. It's all relative. I value the smile it puts on my face more than how many lethargic ponies it can muster

      Well said volvogt21
That’s it .. enough horsepower for me but each to their own .. fun to modify for some as well and the seems to be worth it if done right

Did so .bike was stolen in Melbourne
With one error as we used the after market spacer washer with the original needle
      But easily fixed
