- In this video, I built custom LEGO Ninjago EVO Dragons for Zane and Lloyd, to match the official ones for Jay, Kai, Nya, and Cole released by LEGO! These are meant to be simpler, downscaled versions of the larger dragons, to fit in-line with the other EVO Dragons released under the Ninjago Core line.

LEGO has introduced a new Dragon building system in the past few years, and they've kept expanding upon it. Create your best custom dragon using the modern Ninjago Dragon head system!
Rules:
-You must be subscribed to the Bricks By Mind RUclips channel and follow @bricks.by.mind on Instagram
-Post your MOC on Instagram to the hashtag "BricksByMindDragonMOCContest". DM entries will NOT be accepted.
-Tag @bricks.by.mind in your entries too to make sure it will be seen.
-Contest will conclude on April 15th, 11:59 PM EST, and winners will be announced shortly after
-First place will recieve Zane's Ice Dragon Creature and Jay's Lightning Dragon EVO, second place will recieve Lloyd's Legendary Dragon and Cole's Earth Dragon EVO, and third place will recieve Nya's Water Dragon EVO and Kai's Fire Dragon EVO.
-Anyone can enter, but for winners to recieve their prize, I will need a shipping address from someone 13 or older. This can be the entrant themselves, or a parent/guardian.
-Prizes can only be sent to countries that have their own LEGO Shop@Home. Additionally, prizes CANNOT be sent to the following places:
* PO BOX Addresses
* Mainland China Addresses
* Russian or Ukrainian Addresses
-If one of the top three winners cannot recieve their prize, prizes will be sent to 4th place, etc. First place will still be featured on my Instagram page.
-If you are one of the winners, your prize MUST be in stock at your local Shop@Home at the time of the contest concluding to be able to recieve it. If it is not, the prize will be substituted with another LEGO set of equal or lesser value. We will discuss which set this will be via DM in the event that this occurs.

You could get building technique ideas from your viewers and use each to build something of your choice
Building a lego nexo knight
I'd like to see you upscale the small EVO/CORE dragons to be as big as Lloyd's and Zane's.
Now that we have everything for a non ultra dragon, it’s possible to make jay’s thunder dragon, Kai’s fire dragon, Zane’s ice dragon creature and cole’s earth dragon into a ultra dragon before the color change
Now we just need to see everyone else’s dragons turned into larger full size sets like Lloyd’s and Zane’s
If you want a challenging build, turn the other four dragons full size
I think the horns on Lloyd's dragon are a really good choice, and they look great.
Lloyd's dragon's transition from it's big form to this small one is flawless ^^ Zane's dragon looks like something you'd find in How to Train Your Dragon, not bad. I actually think the lower jaw from Nya's dragon would look great on Zane's dragon.

Perhaps you could do the same for the new vehicles in the evo wave
Make special evo vehicles for Cole, Nya, Zane, and Lloyd
Maybe you could try modding Nya’s EVO dragon to a bigger size, like the legendary dragon or dragon creature for another video!
You should make ally the evo dragons in the bigger styles
I had this idea too - it would make a very fun video, but also sounds difficult. I’m not entirely confident in my ability to do it lol

For another Evo video you could make each ninja a vehicle. You could spin 2 wheels: One with the ninja and one with the Vehicles. Maybe for the Vehicles you could take your pick of Car, Motorcycle, Boat, Helicopter, Mech, Plane, dragon, or other creature. then spin the wheel and whatever vehicle you get you make for whatever ninja you get. could be a fun video
I can not ay enough how much I love Zane’s dragon both your and the official set. I didn’t know how much I needed a 6 legged dragon. I would instantly buy your Zane evo dragon. The Lloyd is good to but not as good.

For your next building challenge, what if you made a Titan Mech (or several) for a ninja who doesn't already have one? Like Kai, Cole or Nya, but in the style of Zane's, Lloyd's and Jay's Titan Mechs? It would be a big undertaking but I have yet to see anyone do this sort of thing already.
You should make a custom/remake of moro's dragon using parts from an other sets like Lloyd's dragon.

Not really Ninjago related, but just got zane's ice dragon for my birthday and when i got to the head the upper jaw instantly made me think abt a ice wyvern from Ark Survival Evolved, it would be a really cool moc to see a ice wyvern from ark.

building challenge idea - every couple of waves we get these small, 20-30 dollar/pound sets that include a ton of desirable minifigs and a decent build, such as throne room showdown, tournament of elements, gamers market and kryptarium prison breakout. maybe something like this for each season, or a couple seasons. im thinking like sensei garmadons school from season 3, courtroom from season 16 (or twitchys shack) or maybe ronins shop from possession (or the tomb of the first spinjitzu master)?
I like the Zane one the best because as you said it looks very sort of snowy, not the hugest fan of Lloyd’s one😂

Hello! Regarding the MOC contest, you mentioned that the molded upper jaw and brick built lower jaw combo was allowed, but is a combination of brick built upper jaw and molded lower jaw allowed as well?

You should try building a consistent line of ninja vehicles eg: cars, jets or bikes
Hey can you do a combination of like the empire dragon and the Cole ego dragon or something to make a better earth dragon for cole because we all know how they are towards call so keep it in mind.

the logical thing to do now is to make the reverse and scale the rest of the dragons up

Alternative build MOCs being a MOC created from the pieces of (typically) one (but can be multiple, usually 2-3) LEGO set
building challenge idea: evo racer for kai, zane, cole, and give jay and nya's racer evo more nya colors or build a whole new racer nya

How about a vid where you convert the other evo dragons into the same style to Zane's and Lloyd's dragons
Rewatching for the initial explanation. I'd tried to make what I call Peyton's Mech Dragon EVO able to class as both an EVO Mech and an EVO Dragon, and the head connection was the only thing I messed up
That being said, the build in question isn't a valid submission because its head molds came from Lloyd's Golden Ultra Dragon and Jay's Golden Dragon Motorbike
I got a couple ideas. Build the other 4 into ultra dragons. Maybe try to combine 3 samurai x crystillized mechs into a massive one. Make a legacy Cole buggy from season one since It was the only one not made. Then I would like a crystallized building challenge say, Using the four golden vehicle's to make one massive vehicle. I get you already did this with the Ultra sonic raider but I thought it would be kind of cool. Then make evo mechs for each of the crystallized generals, Pythor, Aspheera, Mechanic ,Mr F , Skull sorcerer and Harumi. My final idea is to make 4 dragons of your choosing into a ultra dragon. For example, I would do Skippy, Firstborne, Stirmbringer and Unagamis dragon( who I named virus). If you did any of these that would be cool. Also I love your videos

I turned Cole’s dragon into a full size a few days ago doing the exact opposite you did for the full size ones
For the contest, would I be able to submit a lego dragon that has been created on one of the lego building programs or is it physical lego dragons only? Just curious on where I should start.
The only problem you will be facing is that Bricklink's studio does not have the dragon jaw pieces in their 3d catalog unfortunately. But I think digital lego building programs are allowed since previous contest had digital entries as well.
So as the dragons head can I use the head from nyas dragon and the lower jaw from jays because they are different but the jaws are the same piece but different colors

I said “all 6 ninja” for a reason. Lloyd and Nya weren’t ninja in 2011, and therefore did not get dragons
