People said I was fat because I Dressed like I was And my other really clothes friend I have a crop top on at school And I want in her classroom and like I I did all the stuff that were supposed to do She said ease And then I said what and then she like pointed her finger at me and then up and down Like pointed at me and like moved her hand up and down and then once you got to my stomach the second time or the 4th she went up and down and then when she said up when she was about to go down she circles around my stomach
1.When teacher say make team of 2 person and we are 25 in the class…. Always alone… 2. When 2 of my friend come sleepover at MY house, and they were taking pic, talking together, go in the bathroom and lock me out of the bathroom, sleep in the same bed, use my product without asking me, taking my blanket (it’s was joke for them but not for me) so I would freeze! 😞😖😢 Hope to get a reply pipes…! ❤️

I can relate to this skit. When I was young, i wasn't skinny and my teacher started yelling at me and making me feel bad about myself. It was traumatizing bc the other dancers did the same. I left that place and gave up on dancing. Never thought about dancing ever again
To be honest I used to be bullied by a group of girls, now I feel very unconforble around them. A few of them whisperd mean things about us and they would give me the death stare. I'm also very skinny I can even put my tummy under my ribs you can feel so many of my bones. and I don't like my body or anything about me. This made me feel so much better ❤

my dance teacher is strict, she pushes us but she stops when she realises that our bodies can’t keep up. If a single scratch happens to us, she would call the nearest nurse possible or get some water and tissues as quickly as possible.
I did ballet for years and we always had strict as teachers but I recently quit and I’m proud of how far I got cos when I look at myself dance I feel very good at it so I thanks my dance teachers for it.

I love the reality of this cause this is actually a real problem and it doesn't only happen in dance it happens in tones of sports, Ballet, Volleyball, soccer and many more. Even just in general in the real world. it's so sad that these people that are supposed to be supporting us and helping us is calling us these names, and these names really lower your confidence a lot. people get put down because of these names their being called because of their weight and looks and because of that it can cause Ed for people some cases they'll start excessively exercising and stop eating (like how piper is showing in the video) which is really dangerous for your body and the mix of little to no eating and excessively exercising depending on how little and how much your exercising your body will give out on itself(possible death but most cases you'll get too weak from the lack of food and end up passing out and will need to be rushed to the hospital). And other cases some people will binge eat and then feel guilty about it so they'll start to make themselves purge. (like how Ellie shows) I love and appreciate how y'all pointed this problem out because I've been bullied my entire life because I've always been a bit bigger than most girls but thank you.

As a dancer, I’m glad I’ve never met a teacher like this but I’m aware of a dance school that DOES push dancers like this. I stopped competing after some teacher literally brought me to her class(I was about to go on so very poor timing) and used me as an example of how her team should look. Unfortunately I’m under weight and have a eating disorder so bad for me.

As someone who was said to have the “perfect” body I have been compared to others and others have been put down because of teachers. I’ve felt so bad for the other people and the teachers have been horrible. The ballet world helps no one.
Yeah to be honest this makes me feel relieved that my dad didn't put me in dance classes because yes while I know that not all dance teachers are this horrible, I've heard that bodyshaming comes with the territory.

Two things I have struggled with that I think would give great awareness and would mean the world to me are Parents give up on teen with extreme anxiety Parents are in denial and homophobic about there daughter being gay It’s been really hard for me mentally and I love your work so much and it would mean the world to see these skits Girl being shamed for being sad really hit hard for me and I would love to see more similar Love you piper
I’ve also been told I “had a perfect body” and my dance coach would use me as an example to the class but the ting is I’m naturally super skinny and I don’t really gain much weight so if you get compared to someone who is like me don’t listen to them your body’s are beautiful just the way they are

One time something like this happened with one of my aunt’s dance friends from when she was younger. Basically this is what happened: the girls had to go on the scale before practice, if you were over 120 *lbs.* you were off the team, or you could “do something about it.” This one girl was around 130 so the teacher told her “you can get off the team or, you’ll see” she chose to stay on the team, she had to wear duct tape over her stomach for the next 5 months of practice and was forced to exercise every single day only eating salad with protein shakes, every day.

I've struggled with an ed since I was 8 I'm now 15 seeing people like piper encouraging people to love themselves makes me very happy
As a dancer, I’m glad I’ve never met a teacher like this but I’m aware of a dance school that DOES push dancers like this. I stopped competing after some teacher literally brought me to her class(I was about to go on so very poor timing) and used me as an example of how her team should look. Unfortunately I’m under weight and have a eating disorder so bad for me.

Honestly I think it’s not fair for people to get treated badly for stuff they can’t really control. At school I get laughed and a lot and teased for my height, which is something I can’t control.

As someone who was said to have the “perfect” body I have been compared to others and others have been put down because of teachers. I’ve felt so bad for the other people and the teachers have been horrible. The ballet world helps no one.
Yeah to be honest this makes me feel relieved that my dad didn't put me in dance classes because yes while I know that not all dance teachers are this horrible, I've heard that bodyshaming comes with the territory.

Two things I have struggled with that I think would give great awareness and would mean the world to me are
Parents give up on teen with extreme anxiety
Parents are in denial and homophobic about there daughter being gay
It’s been really hard for me mentally and I love your work so much and it would mean the world to see these skits
Girl being shamed for being sad really hit hard for me and I would love to see more similar

I’ve also been told I “had a perfect body” and my dance coach would use me as an example to the class but the ting is I’m naturally super skinny and I don’t really gain much weight so if you get compared to someone who is like me don’t listen to them your body’s are beautiful just the way they are

One time something like this happened with one of my aunt’s dance friends from when she was younger. Basically this is what happened: the girls had to go on the scale before practice, if you were over 120 *lbs.* you were off the team, or you could “do something about it.” This one girl was around 130 so the teacher told her “you can get off the team or, you’ll see” she chose to stay on the team, she had to wear duct tape over her stomach for the next 5 months of practice and was forced to exercise every single day only eating salad with protein shakes, every day.

As someone who is very insecure about my body this video helps me understand the beautiful the way I am and I’m glad u spread awareness about this
you can't expect someone who to have a perfect body because we're perfectly in shape and we can't change that with different kind of treatment we get sometimes from other people or to a teacher that’s how I was back then when they started to treat me like that in school

Piper I'm so glad and thankful you made a skit acknowledging this. I myself struggle with how much I weigh, thinking I'm overweigh and shaming myself for it. This video made me really happy it helped me know that my body is perfect just the way it is. Now I know that I don't have to be skinny to look good, nor do I have to push myself to be skinny.
