Over and over, I have suggested to the opposition party in Nigeria that they should focus on how to organize the coalition party to win the elections in 2027. APC, being the ruling party, is the champion that has to be defeated. Criticism and attacks will not result in that. ADC should focus on telling Nigerians what they have to offer and how. Complaining about the electoral laws and the timetable of INEC is merely unnecessary distraction for a party that is determined to win. As for the appointment of the INEC Chairman, Dele Momodu knows better that it is a constitutional obligation of the president, regardless of party affiliation. When the opposition wins the presidency, and the INEC Chairman's position is vacant, the ADC president will have the opportunity to appoint a new chairman. The opposition seems to be picking on issues that are not of interest to the voters so far.
