Why are you so orange? I do not fake tan, it's the filters on my camera and they can sometimes turn me warmer than I am depending on the light, although I am quite tan naturally in person (I'm Italian)
Do you bleach your own hair? HECK NO, my hair dresser does it all 😅

So nice to have a distraction with everything going on. I'm an international student and lost my on-campus job. I'm not allowed to work anywhere else, and the school said we should leave our dorms by Sunday, so just like that I'm homeless and can't fly home. A few minutes to distract me from this feels so good! 💖💖

Yesterday I was arguing with my boyfriend, he says I have too many pair of pants. To prove a point I counted them all and holy shit I have 32 pairs not even counting my shorts (7). I always wear the same 4 pairs, something is wrong with me

Theres nothing to be ashamed but could be almsot considered hoarding if you feel worried of getting rid of them or just needing to buy more
If you love the print on a t-shirt but don't love the fit of it, you can always turn the t-shirt into a bag, that way you're thrift-flipping the shirt, you get to keep it, and really enjoy it in a new way.
I sew my oversized biker tshirts, after cutting the top off, with an elastic in the top. Presto: super comfy, loose tube top with an edge!
You should try recreating character's outfits with the clothes you already own

I have a great tip for closets full of items you love, but you somehow only discover every time you do a clean up of your closet. I'm the same myself - I love thrifting new clothes and I have A LOT! But then I feel bad because I have so much stuff I never wear even though I love it. So I set up a rule for myself: each week I pick out a few pieces I haven't worn in a while or at all. Then I have to wear them during the week and it forces me to create outfits around them. I think that we are so controlled by our habits and then when we do clear outs, we end up getting rid of stuff that we'd actually get a lot of wear out of, if we just moved them to the habitual part of the brain. I've had so much joy and fun out of doing this and a lot of fellow clothes hoarders around me have implemented it as well and love it too! It helps free the bad conscience from having too much 😁

I imagine that's also useful for eliminating things- like if you try to wear something and you just can't find anything to match it with or you dislike wearing it, you know it's time to say goodbye
You should definitely use the shelf space on your closet so the hanging clothes have some room to "breathe" and you can find what you want more easily
I highly recommend doing a seasonal closet! Putting away anything you KNOW you won’t wear during the current season really helps save space and helps visualize what you’re actually going to wear at that time. I started doing it this last year and it’s helped so much!
I have very limited space for my clothes, so I have bins for the off season clothing. :) I switch it out early enough to make sure everything is ready to use. (I take Fall out, Sept 1) But it makes everything tidier in your living space and you get to enjoy all you pieces well.

You should use those shelves above your closet pole to fold all your crewneck pullover sweaters instead of hanging them. It will free up some room in your closet and some hangers and extend the life of your sweaters :) I have a small closet and wayyy too many clothes so I am always looking for ways to use vertical space and organize everything to make room for more XD

Most of the clothes I've given away lately were things I have had for years but from back when I had been much bigger (heavier) so some of it was like XL t-shirts when I am now XS! Also some were stuff I am no longer interested in as my tastes have changed. And shoes! I've given away lots of new shoes as they just dont work with my weird AA feet. Can't wear arch support anymore. And the one pair of winter boots were just a wee too small for my feet so I gave them away too - found that out the hard way back in January when trying to walk home several miles and with each step my toe tips were banging against the front of the boot!! So painful!! My toenails turned all blue and then months later they actually fell off! Actually wore them very little too. The amazing thing is I actually found great winter boots on Monday at the one thrift here: flat flexible soles and no arch support or raised heels!! The kind of shoe you can roll up into a ball is the kind I love!! Yes, "barefoot" or "minimal zero drop" shoes. They actually strengthen your feet too. 😊 But then my joints are hypermobile.
Oh...and I don't have a single piece of denim. ❗😅 Never had any yet...
Is it weird that the only reason I like watching Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is because Sabrina's appearance reminds me so much of you? Haha!
Anyways, now that I am forced to work from home, a closet declutter is coming soon for me too x)

You could put everything on the floor but put them in semi piles. So you can see how much of each cagetory you have. Plus you can compare what you love and what you kinda like. Overall it help you analyze what you have and you dont get stuck with things you really dont wear.

I'm terrified of any respiratory illness cos I've been asthmatic since I was like 5 months old (even survived pneumonia as a 6 yr old) and even just a normal cold reaches my chest and strikes me down for like 3 weeks so I really don't fancy getting this latest respiratory virus lmao.

i realized while watching this that people will judge you for having many clothes but if someone has abundance of plants - it's all fine. How is it different? If you love fashion, it's your passion and you're not hurting anyone (and for sure you are not) then you can do with your money what you want :)
Who cares how many clothes people have! I don't understand why people hate on other people for their choices. Now *I* personally buy clothes and end up not wearing it, so it's a waste of my own money :/ BUT to each their own!
Ps: if people own an abundance of clothes and *actually* wear them and incorporate them in their daily lives, I applaud them! 👏👏👏
I think the only reason it annoys me is that it can be very harmful to the environment. The way these (mostly fast fashion) brands in many of these videos produce their products is unsustainable and even unethical. So watching someone buy lots of clothes supporting these companies then never/barely wearing them does make me feel bad since it does affect others. I'm not judging, just mentioning it. Even most donations end up in the landfill because stores run out of space for them and they don't sell.
@@poisonisley I was only talking about thrifted items ;) Obviously if someone buys from fast fashion it's bad for the environment and should consider stopping but if someone buys clothes cos they collect them, like people do with art? Yet they still get judged, seems not fair :)
@@szpaqus That makes more sense, I agree then. Thrift shopping is fun, if people want to thrift a lot of clothing and collect it, I'm fine with that. It might actually help stores be able to put more of their inventory on the floor.

I’m also a huge Winnie the Pooh fan too- my mom still calls me Pooh bear even though I’m 25 lol. I found a button up light blue corduroy shirt with Winnie the Pooh and friends on it at my local good will for 50 cents!!! Obviously I had to get it but I honestly don’t love the fit on me and I’m not sure when I’d wear it. I’d love to be able to send it to you!

I’ve been crazy busy every day in the Supermarket we have run out of bread and flour eek not that I buy those items much on the up side I’m still able to go thrift shopping in the two op shops we have in the mall which are vinnies and the restore so that is cool I too have a huge pile of clothes I need to sort out and try to keep positive every day

What’s your advice for first timers selling on Poshmark? Specifically packing and shipping.
packaging and shipping is the easiest part! They do it for you! you can buy new fancy packaging, but with the prepaid Poshmark shipping label you can just use the boxes at USPS! I sometimes have a mix, I will have bigger items in the prepaid boxes and smaller ones in prettier ones 💛 actually selling on Poshmark is hard because I feel like my experience is skewed based on having a following prior, when I purchase from Poshmark though I prefer to buy from a seller that doesn't have unrealistic prices, good in depth photos, and replies to comments!
