    Couldn’t agree with you more. The Bee Sting definitely was among my favorite reads this year - and yes, it should have won the Booker.

    Such a gripping novel! So glad you prioritised it and loved it to. Definitely should have been on the 100 list.

    The Bee Sting, was a tour de force, simply amazing. The way he took the voice of each of the main characters , whether man or woman, and the ending, whoa!! It's one of my favorite books.

    But the ending is unbearable, devastating. Maybe readers should be forewarned, not with any details, of course. But, yes, the writing is absolutely brilliant.
