  • To remove scratches on your vehicle start with 3000 grit sand paper and sand your car. Next add your cutting compound to a wool buffing pad and buff it in. And last go in with your polish and a foam pad for a high shine finish.

    U used the same compound for both pads ?

      you can use whatever pad. Stiffer pad = more correction softer pad = more precise polishing and wax application.

      if the edge of the scratch catches your fingernail when you run your hand over it. You should test the depth of the clear coat also before sanding.

      yes - to apply the wax a black foam pad is great.

      The scratches are in the clear coat and they are easily removed from the clear.
