It's here, it's finally here. The man's been working his ass off diving into this mod so he can give it a proper showing. So everyone at the very least give him a thanks. Thank you Modswell for all you do, 👏👍✌️.
This mod was removed by the author who ported it because apparently “taking a break” means deleting past work. Fucking stupid. I hope someone else ports it soon.
Man..... It would be awesome if these were the only mods I wanted to run lol but I have to have my Nordwarua mods. Wish Todd would just give us more space instead of rehashing this poor dead horse
Thanks for covering the mod😄👍 I've greatly enjoyed it. Interesting NPC's breathes new life into the game. Beyond Reach is another great DLC mod. I honestly can't believe that mods like these have been uploaded for Xbox players. So many great mods are being ported over. They're definitely worth the space if you can afford it. Once again thanks for the video Modswell. Keep up the amazing work 👏
Completely agree, actually there are a few people in this mod who I think are basically better than anything else in the game or mods barring the followers who are super in depth like Inigo
Now for those that do try this mod out let me give you a little direction pointing to one out of the many NPC's this mod provides. "A Game Of Murder". You'll want to head to the Winking Skeever in Solitude. Once in you'll want to look for an Orc Vampire (he's wearing a black mages outfit). Starting up a conversation with him will lead to the mini quest start. Have fun 😉😁✌️.
I just downloaded Skyrim again and have no choice but to make a new order. I'm gonna go gothic vamp vs lycan and see how these can fit in. Another good video 🔥
@@Modswell Yes, but still wish I had a Ford F6500 4x4 jacked up with 30 inch tires with snow chains on bead locked rims with US flags sticking up out of the bed, a Bald Eagle on the hood, and a big ass plow. I could do with out the flags and Bald Eagle on the hood, but I'd keep everything else 😂😁.
Someone please tell me if there are any additions to dawnguard npcs/quests to add more depth to that adventure, I'd like to run a character like the witcher in a way but that DLC needs more work to justify are near full playthrough with that faction. As always thank you and have yourselves a wonderful day.
I think, to get the most from this Mod, you'll have to understand Skyrim and possibly other Mods on a deeper level, which also takes away from what this Mod adds, which is LOTS of surprises! I think, if somehow someone could curate this Mod into a Load-Order, then have a totally newer player stumble-upon some of this content, that'd be ideal. 🤔 Anyhow, this Mod tends to do extremely well, with any other additions you might have, so long as the two-or-so Mods are aware enough of what each other does, to add content, or consider necessary patches. Alternate Start - Live another Life is a great example of this, with the Don't Call me Dragonborn patch being considered, or Alternate Locations, then there's also Legacy of the Dragonborn, to include recommended additions like Oblivion Artifacts, Royal Armory, A.I. Overhaul, Immersive College of Winterhold, Missives, Headhunter - Bounties Redone, etc. So long as this Mod is heavily considered in your Load-Order, it'll almost always add an invaluable amount of Immersion to your game; it's just unfortunate that getting the most out of this Mod comes at a cost of two extremes, a.) you really need to understand Skyrim and Modding to include it in your Load-Order properly, and b.) you'd also get the best possible experience from this Mod if you didn't know it was installed; an almost impossible circumstance, so sad... 😔
Yeah I largely agree with what you're saying here, good insight... I will be making an order with it in but at what cost?! What do I leave out for it ahha
Max, have you tried Reconciliation: Rebirth mod pack? It seemed to contain some very useful mods, but after it updated today, I couldn't load a save, or start a new game.
In my top 3 mods easily. I love how the new characters know the world, they will talk about vanilla NPCs. They will talk about NPCs that this mod adds. It just opens up the world in an incredible way. As a guy after talking with Isobel I was smitten with her. Chatting with Gorr and you can't help but love his belly laugh. You want to have a night of drinking with Eldawyn because she is a sarcastic bitch that you just want to hang out with and bad mouth the rest of Whiterun with. You want to protect Zora, but then realize she is a complete badass and she is protecting you half the time. I can not say enough about this mod. I've used it for a couple years on PC and I still haven't found everyone I'm sure.
@@fernelys364 I'd have to think about the 2nd one. But without a doubt the #1 is Vigilant. The epicness of the settings, the story, the characters, the ending. I have WELL over 10,000 hours in Skyrim, I've played all the big mods. Vigilant is the GOAT.
@@fernelys364 I think the last in my top 3 is the Serana Dialogue Improvement. She was my, and most of our favorite vanilla follower. The improvement mod just makes her infinitely better. The way she teases Inigo about him being a little scared of her, or how she tries to make a real lady out of Sofia is so fun to be a part of.

Thanks for such a thorough review! The only thing keeping me from installing this mod is that I've read that its NPCs can sometimes be too "meta" (so to speak); too aware of the video game mechanics and that is a dealbreaker for me. Would you agree with that?
I've played this mod for about 30 hours and I've only found one companion that's directly making fun of one of the game's mechanics (if you consider the bland recycled dialogue of vanilla followers to be a mechanic). Even in that instance, it's done without really screaming "Hey this part of the vanilla game is really poorly done." In contrast, some of the other big companion mods like Inigo or SDA have waaaay more instances of pure fourth wall breaks than anything I've come across in this mod. Then again, I've only found like half of the companions, but still. Not downloading this mod because a few of the followers aren't to your liking is like not downloading a weapon pack mod that add 2000 items just because you don't like three of the mod's warhammers.
Theres a ton of variance on Follower style, some will break the fourth wall and others are more discreet but it is quite rare for them to pull something immersion breaking out
