This is so true. I know a woman who started shining so bright in her late 30s...She was not so beautiful before she became more loving and compassionate. Her hair became so shiny, eyes - so bright, like little stars. Everything in her physical body just became so much beautiful. I relate to this sooo much. Sometimes I feel like a shapeshifter because my face can literally look different every other day. I was told by someone that your emotions are stored in your face also, so that might explain a lot.
I suffered with very bad acne since I was 12. After with deep acne scars which completely ruined my skin. In fact, I am 30 now and still struggling with scars and other skin issues I caused myself through many different products I used over the years.This whole experience took away my best years.Perhaps, I did this to myself. However, this experience completely shifted my life. I became very spiritual, very into natural stuff like eating plant based diet (veganism), using natural products etc. Maybe its a positive thing. But negative and the worst thing is that I dont feel enough now, I am afraid of connecting to other people, I feel empty inside, I feel no love for myself or others, or anything, I feel lonely and I am single and perhaps this will be forever even though I am craving for relationship. After struggling my whole life I am left with deep emotional wounds, I am very insecure and I dont know how to fix that. I am aware that my thoughts, feelings, actions are creating the reality I am in right now. I dont know how to change that because I suffered too much. I guess I have no other option just acceptance of my reality and realisation that I am the only one who caused all this experience to myself, its my low vibrational frequency...I need to raise my vibration...Maybe after another 10000 reincarnations I will manage to raise my vibration a bit. Until then the existence will be a suffering to me. I would love to go to sleep and never wake up again in this reality.

Maybe he was trying to reinforce that even though someone can be drop dead gorgeous the bad habits and evil behaviour will always give off bad vibes and somehow imprint in the body in a subtle but perceivable way then beauty becomes artificial and hollow. The same principle could apply on the opposite way to someone less physically attractive but with a pure and kind way of conducting themselves. Whatever you do .. it will transpire into energy to every cell of your body.
Perhaps they came into the world beautiful to learn that appearance isn't everything and instead to work on developing a personality and some substance. Or they could have just been very simple and happy souls in the past and that carried over. Either way you'd be a lot better off interpreting someone by how you feel around them vs their appearance. I had very short hair ("1-2") at the beginning of the Covid pandemic; and stopped trimming anything, even my ears, since then. . .
As an African, I find it difficult to understand these teachings. I can sense the yearning of my soul to reconnect and experience God one on one but I always feel lost and empty. What am I not doing right?
Curious what you feel being African has to do w anything in discovery of what these teachings are pointing to?
