Hi. Really liked your video lesson. Are you adding the cobalt oxide to greenware and/or bisque? Have you tried using the washi paper application of the oxide? Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Thank you! I have 2 questions… I have cobalt oxide in powder form, is there a recipe to make the liquid cobalt? Also you mentioned a clear glaze but I couldn’t hear what kind you said was the correct one…
You can mix cobalt oxide (or Carbonate) with water. Weight out the contains with water and try them out. A little cobalt oxide goes long way. Any clear glaze will work. We use cone 10 Colman Clear at Ventura College.
What type of brushes do you use for your painting's? I'm trying to make modern boats in a Delfts Blue style, but i need to know wich brushes they use for these kind of painting, of some similar to them, can you help me out?

My apology for the delay replied. I'm using vitrified Engobe and fire to cone 10. The recipe is EPK 39, Felspar 30.5, Silica 30.5
