- We have just spent a few weeks on the Yorke Peninsula at a cool little van park called Point Turton Caravan Park.
We based ourselves here and explored the fishing, 4wding, crabbing, swimming, snorkelling & loads more!!
This has honestly been 2 of the best weeks on the road, we have met so many other families here and shared some great company along the way.
Check out the vid and hit us up with your comments!! We love your feedback and remember to SUBSCRIBE so you can see m ore from our "life on the road".
Cheers - Justin & Bec

I grew up here (well Warooka) 😭 you made me have massive nostalgia. Can't wait to go and visit my friends and family when this pandemic eases.

Although i know its hard to go passed the Panko :)
Just found you guys, great videos anda beautiful family. Making fantastic memories for you all.
Danthe Couch cheers mate, thanks for the lovely message✌️
When I was a teenager I had a mate who`s parents had a small fibro shack on the cliffs at Pt Turton. We would spend the day catching fish, squid, scallops and the occasional crayfish. We cooked them on the beach and the taste was sensational! I couldn`t eat seafood from a restaurant (even a really good one) for years after we stopped going to Pt Turton because it just does not taste the same!! Great memories of Pt Turton!
Awesome.. thankyou for sharing guys! We are thinking to buy a caravan and do camping anywhere in SA and you video just inspired us where to go. I've subscribed you guys. Happy camping!
Thats a lovely catch of KG whiting aka Kidney slappers. well done boys.

I stupidly lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Michael Onyx instablaster =)
@Ethan Cain thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Did you manage to get to Brown's Beach? Can get some great salmon fishing there in the cooler months. Also, you bought back some great memories for me. I caught my first ever fish off the Port Turton jetty, a king george whiting. That was almost 60 years ago.
Butt Fugly we did check out Browns beach. Beautiful place 👌 p
@@TripInAVan If you are thinking of going back to Point Turton drop me a reply. I'll let you in to the secrets of catching salmon at Brown's. I know you like your sunsets. Prime time to catch salmon off the inner reef/rock ledge. Sun going down and salmon jumping out of the water. Can get them up to 3kgs :)
👍
Hey mate, great video. Can you maybe show the locations on a map? I think it would be really helpful for people planning or dreaming. Might show how close or far some locations are
mitch schmitt great idea man, I’ll do that from now on! Cheers for the idea👍👍
How do you go with cooking in the van? Does it not stink the van out to smell like food? We only have a stove top in our Jayco Dove and never used it

Laughed at your comment that no one has heard of Pt Turton😂😂 SA’s well kept secret + Innes NP + Pondaliwie Beach is awesome for Salmon and Mulloway. Cape Elizabeth is also a great beach and big Whiting off the beach. Also Balgowann is an awesome camp site with great fishing
Nice one guys 😎

My wife and I are about the same age as you guys heading off for a lap or 3 in the next 9 months and just wondering what camera do you use to do the filming?
Joe cheers mate,, glad you like the vids👍👍 We use a few different cameras hey.. GoPro, drone and a Sony a7👍👍
Thanks a bunch I seen the Phantom 3, GoPro on some of your vids was just wondering about the more stationary type you were using. I didn't know at the time but I passed you guys camping not long ago at Redrock bay near Carpenters Rocks SA. I was heading down the beach to catch a few Tommy Ruffs for dinner. We live 20mins from there. I admired your rig driving past then put the it together when I seen your vids on youtube, small world anyways cheers safe travels

Easy solution on the pronunciation, ask a local.
This is a good place for that nuclear fuel dump have to put it to the government better than Kimba
Extremely rude to do that with your wife on open media. It's around the world mate. Have more respect for your wife. Ps. I mean the part of offering her the first bite on the squid.
