Yes, the best is to install on studs. But if you don't have studs in the right position, this one still works if the drywall and anchor can hold the weight of the TV. In this case, I used Toggler which is able to hold up to 143 lbs on 1/2" dry wall.
It is still holding till now. So about 2 years and still going. If your drywall is weak and thin, then for sure it will not hold, but if the drywall is strong, these anchors can carry way more than the weight of this TV.
@ProductUnboxingMore I believe it..bought this shady looking TV mount for drywall that came with like 12 tiny thumbtack like nails for mounting. 55" TV. Had serious doubts but it literally held my wieght so I threw the TV up and it's worked flawlessly. Think I paid maybe 20$ or less. Blew my mind. I've put more effort than that into mounting guitar forks in the wall and the guitar still crashed down a few months later 🤣 thanks for your review
first, the NetFlix version does not support Dolby Atmos for this model. The video is not as sharp as I wanted for a 4K TV. On the plus side, it is cool to the eyes I think.
I just came across this video trying to see how to install my 55in tcl. It has that box in the back and we have the onn Tv mount. So we would just take out the screws that’s already in there and then out the mount in with new screws? I’m been waiting to install for days cause I was confused
What a nice presentation, very precise, thorough concise yet very perspective and informational.
Much appreciated!
Damn brother, you saved us heart ache. The video is so helpful!!!
Thank you!!!
I love it - eye protection for a tv mount..priceless
Safety first!
I thought for TV's you are supposed to go into the studs. I don't think drywall screws are adequate.

Thks bro you're instructions helped alot!
Welcome. Happy to hear that. Thanks for watching.
DO You know which screws sizes can be used for wall mounting TCL 65 inch TV?
I just used those that came with the TV mount.
Thank you!
Thank u too
Dry wall anchors on a tv that size is slightly unsettling...how long did it hold for? Lol

@@01keyboard that's interesting to know. Thanks for sharing.
Do you have to put spacers on for the mounting brackets?
yes.
Is that 55 inch or 65 inch? Do you like the TV?
55 inch. Some features I like, some I don't.
@@ProductUnboxingMore Can you tell me? I bought the 65 inch but its still in storage.

@@ProductUnboxingMore Ok, thanks for the clarification bro!
no worries. let me know how you think about your 65inch when you use it. Cheers!
Why didn't you use the power screwdriver to remove and install the TV mount and feet? You could have saved two minutes
that is also possible, but sometimes, power screw driver is too fast and strong and I don't take the risk of cross-threading the TV connections.
why the spacers?
because the back of the TV is not flat.
This is 75 inch TCL tv right?
55 inch
