To me TMNT III is a bit more fun since the home port was not an exact port of the original TMNT :TURTLES IN TIME arcade game.Minor changes here and there but they made the difference in the arcade game.
E Boogie its good but a. Bit easy and short. Tmnt manhattan project has awesome music, good difficulty, long levels and lots if em, best combinafion of bosses. Had it been ported to SNES and given the turtles in time moveset it would be unanimous and not just my opinion.
Anthony Martinez yeah the 2003 tmnt is my favorate cause it borrows some story arcs from the original comics according to peter laird in an interview durring the 2003 series.
TMNT 2 on NES has a special place in my memory. My best friend and I would play it constantly growing up. Neither of us were particularly large turtles fans, but it was one of the few multiplayer games we had between us so we just poured hours into it. Good times!
You missed (unbelievably) the '89 Arcade Game, TMNT Tournament Fighters NES, TMNT 2 Battle Nexus on GBA, TMNT 3 Mutant Nightmare on DS and the 2014 movie based TMNT on the 3DS.
TMNT: Toournament Fighters from SNES; GENESIS and NES are actually 3 totally different games, with different graphics, rooster, story and gameplay. Those should be considered 3 different games at your video.
We just wanted to say thank to everyone for making this video our most viewed and most successful video on our channel. We've been reading all your comments every step of the way so once gain, thank you. With that being said, stay tuned for this upcoming fall because we're officially back BABY! :)
You forgot one of the (if not the) most pivotal, original TMNT games! Which is the 1989 Arcade version (which I know is basically what the 2nd TMNT NES game was based on...but the arcade one came out first and is superior in graphics & sound of course). Was huge when it first came out, with the original TV theme song in the intro...classic. You should add it as #2! ruclips.net/video/pjZ0OHIcJpc/видео.html Cowabunga
+ironsoup When you make these videos you're always going to miss a few. I'd add it if I could but once the video is up, then that's it. Thank you for sharing though.
I discovered that 4 player game when I was 10. I loved it. I just happened to walk into the arcade with 3 of my friends that day. We walked out broker than shit haha.
ironsoup Yeah! The 1989 Arcade version is *unforgettable* I wonder that Tempest Arcade didn't add it in this vid. How so many coins I used to play this incredible game. *Turtles Forever* P.s.: 87 dislikes are from Foot Clan soldiers! 😉
Would have been cool to see footage of all 3 of the Tournament Fighters versions since all they share is the name and that they are fighting games. Different characters, different fighting mechanics, different graphics. Was definitely a different era back then. I own 2/3 of them (had a chance to buy the NES version but couldn't justify spending $175 for an NES game).
TNMT 3 was the best one in NES. I used to play for long hours with my friends to complete it but due to some bug, the shredder would not die in the final stage.
I like the sentiment of this video, and overall it's well done, but you've gotta include the actual original arcade game! That's probably the most famous one of them all, P.S. I feel sorry for anyone who bought that Manhattan Missions. That looks awful lol
***** yeah, cuz god forbid Konami will do anything with it. Maybe Nick Games could do it if they can afford to pay for the rights to the games... Kickstarter?
You can't show the 3 different versions of TMNT TournamentFighters as one clip!!! They're 3 totally different and separate games! The SNES version was a decent home StreetFighter2 clone, while the other 2 were barely even actual fighting games. I don't even like calling em games. The SNESv was an actual SF-like fighter, each character w/a set of super moves, and a typical NormalPunch/FiercePunch, NormalKick/FierceKick button scheme. When you hit someone with a normal punch, it caused a little bit of your life bar to go down. A fierce punch would take a tiny bit more of your health bar. A super move would take a bit more than that...sound familiar? That's how fighting games work, but the SegaGenesis version was AWFUL, so was the NES, but they didn't have much to work with. Genesis was a different game, in space, much fewer fighters, awful scratchy voices and music, but worse yet, it had punch and kick, that's it. Taunt doesn't count. And they each had like 1-2special moves! And your life bar.... it went down like a quarter per punch, half per supermove. It was a huge let down. And other than the turtles and Casey Jones , the rest of the fighters were different in each game, SNES having the most and the best line up, with characters from the Archie comics, Sega had nothing. I'm sick of typing about this, but the entries should've been separated, bc the other two games were nightmares.
Данил Комиссаров Don't listen to what other people say. I totally agree with you right there. Spent so many hours playing this game just for the awesome soundtracks and gameplay
OHH YEAH!!! LOVE THE 2003 TV SHOW AND THE GAME TO IT IS JUST AMAZING!!! I also play it today with 17! I mean i grew up with the show and i have so much good memories with the show! Ahhh wish we could turn back the time! to the good old days
Idk. This one had very straight forward areas, and you were limited to one area until you beat all the enemies. All stages felt the same. I find it's sucessor, TMNT2: Battle Nexus, much better.
I had the Raph Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toy when I was 1 years old I loved it was my toy those good old days it was in 1992 cause I was 1 and it was my birthday all I know when got that toy I didnt want to lose it but I wish my mom wouldve stored it that was my childhood toy too best toy ever in the world my brother had the most Teenage Ninja Turtle stuff he had the toys Raphael on his cake the Pajamas we had the TMNT clock when we was little man those days I miss it good history of TMNT video games.
Tmnt 2003 is a very good cartoon. The story is one of the best and alot like the comics. All turtles have their own story arcs. They actually fight like.they have had serious ninjitsu training. Theres emotional moments too. Almost every villian is fleshed out. Even some of the one off bad guys. Every season barely has any filler. It feels like it was made with adults in mind mixed with some kidfriendly stuff. Check it out some time.
Why do they never have an option in the beatem ups where you can switch between using your weapons and just using fists and kicks?? I mean I always envisioned a game like the first movie, where some turtles would use their weapons, and others wouldn't. It makes for a more dynamic game. You could have stat increases etc based on your play style, if you used fists, your defense and blocking and counter attacks went up, if you went weapons, your dmg would go up but you would be more vulnerable. It would add so much to a game if you had option on how you wanted to play it..
that very first one I had on the Amiga, took forever to get past that level underwater with those things that would shock you. Personally think Rocksteady should make a Turtles game, nice big open world above and below, a main villain with tons of side missions with other villains, done as dark as the arkham
The Shadowgunner Well, kinda. The GBA can only use 32k colour mode when displaying still images. When displaying sprites it’s limited to 512 colours. Don’t forget too the GBA is only 220x160 while the SNES is generally 320x240.
Generally portable consoles lagged well behind the home consoles in graphical capability so I never found that strange. Even if the GBA's heydey was a decade later than SNES.
The first arcade game should have a place of its own; that's the one most people played at the time, not the nes version. The four player cabinet with vibrant colors and all the sound was a completely different experience from the home version. The snes turtles in time also played different from the arcade, with different bosses and combat. The three versions of Tournament fighters were very different from each other. The 2007 TMNT game for the PSP was also very different and consisted mostly of jumping from one place to another.
I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games I was born in 1991 when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time came out and the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Secret of the Ooze movie came out in the year I was born love them all my got diploma and was finally done with school in 1991 had me that same year after she my older brother in 1989 when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came out great times my parents were love back then but until 1993 everything fell apart not really working out I can say 80s and 90s were good.
Wtf no original arcade game? Can't take this list seriously.
I recently replayed Turtles In Time for SNES. Still holds up surprisingly well.
+SeanithanEgan If you've played the Arcade version do you remember one slight boss difference? Rhetorical question.
I don't - I only ever played the SNES version.
I'm guessing Tokka and Razar aren't in the original arcade version though.
+SeanithanEgan They are as well. The only difference was that in B.C. the boss is Slash in the SNES version and the arcade had the mud monster.
Oh, wow. I had no idea. Slash is the hardest boss by far.
+SeanithanEgan ya since you gotta hit him in the back. Fighting him 1 player is a headache.
Turtles in Time is by far the best one
To me TMNT III is a bit more fun since the home port was not an exact port of the original TMNT :TURTLES IN TIME arcade game.Minor changes here and there but they made the difference in the arcade game.
***** i play everyday
turtles in time is the easiest game I've ever played. It got beaten I think the first time we played it on SNES.
E Boogie I like TMNT 2007 (the movie game) better
E Boogie its good but a. Bit easy and short. Tmnt manhattan project has awesome music, good difficulty, long levels and lots if em, best combinafion of bosses. Had it been ported to SNES and given the turtles in time moveset it would be unanimous and not just my opinion.
Man the classic Konami tmnt games had really good music.
wacey murphy Especially the 2003 one. That one had the best soundtracks
Good times!
Surprisingly the tmnt 2007 game isn't bad.I actually liked it. It's simple beat em up action with good platforming .
bradlie1 no its trash
Aww people sad that their opinion isn't their? Sad little toxic children
It Was Time For Thomas To Leave Now Their right though, the game is fucking garbage.
13Gangland Everyone has their opinions, to mine i love the game
game was FUCKING AWESOME
You missed (unbelievably) the '89 Arcade Game, TMNT Tournament Fighters NES, TMNT 2 Battle Nexus on GBA, TMNT 3 Mutant Nightmare on DS and the 2014 movie based TMNT on the 3DS.
Just like the films and cartoons started of awesome and went shit over time
The one before the latest tmnt was cool.
True 😂😂
TMNT II on the NES is still my favorite
Darryl Jenks brah do you still have some of that SOOOUUULLL GLLOOOO?
Kris Rotgänger Yep
TMNT III - The Manhattan Project was my childhood!! Good memories.
Its amazing how the best game is turtles in time and it came out 25 goddamn years ago.
TMNT: Toournament Fighters from SNES; GENESIS and NES are actually 3 totally different games, with different graphics, rooster, story and gameplay. Those should be considered 3 different games at your video.
I’m so glad all of these Konami games are coming via The Cowabunga Collection!
We just wanted to say thank to everyone for making this video our most viewed and most successful video on our channel. We've been reading all your comments every step of the way so once gain, thank you. With that being said, stay tuned for this upcoming fall because we're officially back BABY! :)
OMG!!! TMNT IV in HD is by far the most beautiful thing I've seen today.
Which one is TMNT IV? Which system? Sorry I didn't watch the whole thing. =P
turtles in time
You forgot one of the (if not the) most pivotal, original TMNT games! +ironsoup It's is the only game I wasted all my quarters in the arcade on.

*Turtles Forever* P.s.: 87 dislikes are from Foot Clan soldiers! 😉
ironsoup great stuff
Great Video! Here because of the Cowabunga Collection hype!
I didn't even know tmnt manhattan missions for the pc exists
Would have been cool to see footage of all 3 of the Tournament Fighters versions since all they share is the name and that they are fighting games. Different characters, different fighting mechanics, different graphics. Was definitely a different era back then. I own 2/3 of them (had a chance to buy the NES version but couldn't justify spending $175 for an NES game).
What? $175?? How could it have cost that much? Was this recently because the game is super rare now or something?
better add Injustice onto this list lol
Survived Kombatants right that's why I'm here 😂
Turtles In Time (1989 - 2016)
All those games are great!
Turtles in Time is all you needed to show :P
TNMT 3 was the best one in NES. I used to play for long hours with my friends to complete it but due to some bug, the shredder would not die in the final stage.
I like the sentiment of this video, and overall it's well done, but you've gotta include the actual original arcade game! That's probably the most famous one of them all,

Turtles Tournament fighter on SNES was my jam!
Played it enough to win with all characters. Still mikey and don my favs. Ratking and karai had that boss cheat mode lol.
i wish they would release some of these like .. rare replay collection xept tmnt collection x-x
Amen
Cameron Renton Even the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for Nintendo?
***** eh, I mean Rare Replay has some stinkers, so why not? Ninja Turtle Collection! We could call it the Pizza Power Package
***** yeah, cuz god forbid Konami will do anything with it. Maybe Nick Games could do it if they can afford to pay for the rights to the games... Kickstarter?
***** yeah, but they'd make it a pachinko game
tmnt hyperstone heist ... wow looks like classic one`s how could i missed :D awesome
iHelloway
Hyperstone Heist still my favourite!
Super Nintendo had the best TMNT
Yea snes tmnt was badass but i loved the genesis one alot.it looked an handled better but that boss gauntlet was impossible
Tournament fighters! Best game ever!!!
Arcade is the best
Turtles in time for snes and the manhattan project for nes are my favorites
damn boi i remember playing the hyperstone heist a lot as a kid
You can't show the 3 different versions of TMNT TournamentFighters as one clip!!! They're 3 totally different and separate games! The SNES version was a decent home StreetFighter2 clone, while the other 2 were barely even actual fighting games. I don't even like calling em games.

I love all of 'em until 1993 Tournament Fighters. I come from the old school: sympathize me!! 😄😂
What was that tmnt racing game that had hoverboards or something on the gameboy or ds i forgot
i dont care what people say about reshelled it its a good game
It's like gaming went backwards since the 90s....unbelievable! 😱😡
Very backwards it did good in the ps2 era and then went sad again. All graphics no heart n soul
I feel like you missed a lot, like the Tournament Fighters was a different game on every console it was on.
11:55 this was best TMNT game ever 😍..
I remember playing this with my friends on my ps2 5 years ago
we need a new tmnt fighting game that is not a smash bros clone and is something more like the Tmnt tournament fighters for the snes
bazz no like injustice
XotechnOzoner * I had this thought today at work lol it would be dope if Ed Boon would pick up TMNT
wich is a street fighter ii clone :P
bobby jones Ninja turtles DLC in Injustice 2 lol
TheRandomDude R yeah I seen the reveal. Fucking amazing.
The first TMNT game on nes was like... Battletoads hard...
I used to play that gameboy version a ton. Back when I was 7 or 8, I used to beat it once per day as an activity during my summer break days.
7:53 - best TMNT game ever
how sad for you
Данил Комиссаров Don't listen to what other people say. I totally agree with you right there. Spent so many hours playing this game just for the awesome soundtracks and gameplay

you are right fully
We can all agree TMNT 1 literally made zero sense. However Turtles in time is the best, then definitely TMNT 2.
I have:
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: the Manhattan Project (NES)
-TMNT Tournament Fighters (NES) (not shown in video)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time (SNES)
-TMNT Tournament Fighters (SNES)
-TMNT Fall Of The Foot Clan (Gameboy)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus (PlayStation 2)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare (PlayStation 2)
Лучшая -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: the Manhattan Project (NES)
2 место -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
3 место -TMNT Tournament Fighters (NES) (not shown in video)
Yeah right. I don't believe you.
THE TMNT will be in injustice 2
Wow... You predicted it
The newer designs remind me of those photoshops where they take a cartoon character and try to make them look hyper realistic
I love these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games right on.
Wow that's a lot of Donatello gameplay, is he your fav or something?
Turtles the arcade was the best one ever miss those days
So much nostalgia in this video
TMNT 3 on the nintendo, turtles in time on SNES was definitley the best games on the consoles. Hyper stone heist was pretty good too.
Turtles 3 manhattan project is the best first turtles game I’ve played and in my opinion the best 👌
Turtles 2 for NES was my early childhood 😇
I had the Raph Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toy when I was 1 years old I loved it was my toy those good old days it was in 1992 cause I was 1 and it was my birthday all I know when got that toy I didnt want to lose it but I wish my mom wouldve stored it that was my childhood toy too best toy ever in the world my brother had the most Teenage Ninja Turtle stuff he had the toys Raphael on his cake the Pajamas we had the TMNT clock when we was little man those days I miss it good history of TMNT video games.
Haha Xenomorphs in Turtles in Time. I love how they figured that if they rendered them a different color that no one would notice lol. Still gets me.
Those creatures are called pizza monsters and were in an episode of the original cartoon.
The games really took a dump aftter turtles in time, as did the cartoons, movies etc
nah
2nd tmnt when they grow up is good
Tmnt 2003 is a very good cartoon. The story is one of the best and alot like the comics. All turtles have their own story arcs. They actually fight like.they have had serious ninjitsu training. Theres emotional moments too. Almost every villian is fleshed out. Even some of the one off bad guys. Every season barely has any filler. You have poor taste in games or havent actually played any after that.
@@JSN117 I fully agree.
I don’t know if it’s in here but there was a TMNT game that plugged straight into the tv and it was a big square controller
Mutant nightmare and tmnt 2007 brings me childhood memories
Cool gotta check this games out sometime
I Love TMT When I was a Kid I Still Love it SUPER 😁😁 😁!!!! From Your Real life Superhero From The Xtreme Justice
Why do they never have an option in the beatem ups where you can switch between using your weapons and just using fists and kicks?? It would add so much to a game if you had option on how you wanted to play it..
was the latest TMNT game fun? Anything like the Arcade versions?
I wish you would have shown gameplay from the GBA and DS versions of Battle Nexus and Mutant Nightmare
that very first one I had on the Amiga, took forever to get past that level underwater with those things that would shock you. Personally think Rocksteady should make a Turtles game, nice big open world above and below, a main villain with tons of side missions with other villains, done as dark as the arkham
Rocksteady is a fictional character, but if he was real I doubt he would want to make a video game based off of his enemy.
that moment when you realize that the snes had better graphics than the gba
Neoleeone LOL nope. Snes can display 256 colors at a time, while the gba can display 32k colors at a time
The Shadowgunner Well, kinda.
The Genesis game looks great. I had the console but never played it. I wonder how the game plays?
You missed a couple of titles there, but still interesting
Definitely the best games ever!
The first arcade game should have a place of its own; that's the one most people played at the time, not the nes version. The four player cabinet with vibrant colors and all the sound was a completely different experience from the home version. 2005 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare
My Personal Fav
7:55 These Sounds from the enemies... are they from the SNES Batman Game?
Turtles in time for snes and the manhattan project for nes. Love them both
Tmnt battle nexus ' tmnt mutant nightmare and mutant melee are the best ninja turtles games ever
IMO the Manhattan Project was the Best TMNT game ever made.
Man I wish I had time and skill to take those low graphics TMNT games for Gameboy and NES and remake them.
after turtles 4, it's been nothing but pain
Hey what happened to the first arcade game... that was the best ever.
that was awesome i want all those games
You forgot Nickelodeon's TMNT for Wii/xbox360/3ds and TMNT The Movie for 3ds ;)
Tmnt 2007 was my childhood
*cowabunga* !!!
Why is the ninja turtles game in 2016 so much better than the movie.
God damn turtles in time holds up so good
I'd like to see a game done in the true art style and mature content of the original comic books.
I didnt realize they were still making these these days...🤔
I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games I was born in 1991 when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time came out and the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Secret of the Ooze movie came out in the year I was born love them all my got diploma and was finally done with school in 1991 had me that same year after she my older brother in 1989 when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came out great times my parents were love back then but until 1993 everything fell apart not really working out I can say 80s and 90s were good.
Fan of Donnie I see lol he is one of the best.
Myron Jones I was looking for that comment
srry for the late reply
Agreed
There was another game on nintendo that you forgot, but I can't recall the name.
I like the old tmnt on nes and on Super Nintendo they were the best games.
Original Turtles in Time was never beaten and won't be even with Platinum behind the wheel of the next one, still looking forward to it though.
It's hard to beat the classics. But I have a feeling it's gonna be one of the best tmnt games alongside Turtles in Time
I hope so. Platinum are one of the very best games makers in the world IMO. Fingers crossed.
meccanobravado
Anyone else watching this to see how the turtles will fight in injustice 2?
i love tmnt so much
Turtles in time is my favourite SNES game ever.
Konami knew how to make good games about turtles, but other studios did poorly in this regard. except yubisoft.
Que emoción ver este video me hace retroceder el tiempo hasta se me cayó una 😢 de recordar mi infancia tortuninjas buen juego ✌
They need a TMNT collection released
09:20 what happened to the name tag??
I like the 2007 PS2 TMNT the best.. it was great
i only like 1 TMNT game. and i will never tell which one
looks as tho Turtles in Time were fighting "Alien"
