Hi mate, So inside content manager when you're packing your server with all your cars, go to allowed tyres out, set that to 4 and it should stop giving you penalties. If not come by the discord and I can try help you there
Right so far this is the best tutorial I have ever seen. But I have a minor issue that someone her might relate to. So the AC Server application tells me, that the server has started, which is great because I have never been so far. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut: It says nothing more. I am saying, that it doesn´t give me an invitation link and all that stuff. Anyone else who had that problem and solved it?
@@ThufailWafii yea, i read the coments further down and realised this as well. However mine does not run at all and just closes repeatedly, even when running it as administrator. I also did the pinned message at the top, running command prompt with the cmd /K filepath however the error message i get seems to be different from everyone else. so i am stuck now :(

EDIT: when i run Assetto Server, it force closes it just as shown in the video, but where you say to run it again and then it opens the text saying its been successful, mine just force closes again.

Use my settings in the video and then adjust the numbers up by one, there's no real secret to finding the perfect number you just need to find what is right for you

Adjust your MaxCollisionStopTimeSeconds & MinCollisionStopTimeSeconds, you cannot go through the cars unless you edit the actual car model to make them passable through objects

I dont seem to have the "extra_cfg" file in order to enable the EI....It seems to have generated when you "pack"ed the file and then coped the 3 folders to the Server folder. Lights is to do with your CSP or AC Settings nothing to do with the server settings or setup. To create AI splines for another track you need to load into the map on single player and use the AI Tool in Content Manager to map out the path of the AI that they need to drive on
everything worked for me but when i joined the server it spawned me in this random parking lot away from the main highway, how do i make it spawn me at the regular pits?

For some reason I can't drive the nohesi cars on my server they won't accelerate I don't know if it's some method to only use them on their servers or what.
I’m having a lot of trouble. i think it first started with port forwarding and then when i tried to get your links it was all scrambled. now i get a bunch of errors and can’t play any of the online content manager stuff. help?
So I was able to get the AssettoServer window to open up and show some of the updates like in your video, but after that first try, no dice. Each time I click on it after I've packed and dragged over the cfg files it closes immediately. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the .NET framework options - all three - and that did not help. Also have tried restarting in between, starting completely from scratch, etc. Not sure what the issue is but its not working for me one bit.
Also, any tips/tricks on getting teleport functionality to work? I found an LAC.txt example by googling and have tried finding the coordinates for SRP at some of the main points but I keep having issues where the cars fall through the map or do not exactly teleport directly to coordinates I've used from the objects inspector.
I have the same problem. After i open the assettoserver app, it starts to do something, but it closes immediately. I can run servers by CM and the old acServerManager, but this is not work for me :S And i think this is a must have thing for the traffic server. :S So if you know what could be the problem, please tell me. :D
@@Sloshy the problem was for me is the integrity check, i ticked it out, because i didnt want to suck with the datas of the car because all of my friend is always changing something on their cars. But it seems the traffic server only works with packed data. The other thing was(im not sure this could be a problem) i bought the assettoserver thing from patreon and installed the way how they show it. Put the things in the ac server folder, overwrite things, rename assettoserver.exe to acServer.exe... ect.. so followed their instructions and now it works for me. So thank you for the rest of the help, now we can do touge traffic drift with my friends :)

I think if you throw a threadripper CPU or something buff in side it, you'll be fine, I don't see the need for any non discreet GPU to be needed

my shutoko has traffic only in my lane, in the opposite lane there is no vehicle, even activating the TwoWayTraffic option, how can I solve this?
Make sure you have the right AI spline & put enough traffic AI cars so they can spawn, won't work if you have 3/4 cars

my assettoserver.exe does not open after setting everything up
Make sure you have the latest .net frameworks installed
What do u do if the u already clicked the server tab but it’s not popping up at the top 🤔?

The full version of content manager is preffered but you don't need the ultimate version of Assetto as you get to pick what cars go on the server

So I was able to get the AssettoServer window to open up and show some of the updates like in your video, but after that first try, no dice. Each time I click on it after I've packed and dragged over the cfg files it closes immediately.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the .NET framework options - all three - and that did not help. Also have tried restarting in between, starting completely from scratch, etc. Not sure what the issue is but its not working for me one bit.
Also, any tips/tricks on getting teleport functionality to work? I found an LAC.txt example by googling and have tried finding the coordinates for SRP at some of the main points but I keep having issues where the cars fall through the map or do not exactly teleport directly to coordinates I've used from the objects inspector.

I have the same problem. After i open the assettoserver app, it starts to do something, but it closes immediately. I can run servers by CM and the old acServerManager, but this is not work for me :S And i think this is a must have thing for the traffic server. :S So if you know what could be the problem, please tell me. :D

@@Sloshy the problem was for me is the integrity check, i ticked it out, because i didnt want to suck with the datas of the car because all of my friend is always changing something on their cars. But it seems the traffic server only works with packed data. The other thing was(im not sure this could be a problem) i bought the assettoserver thing from patreon and installed the way how they show it. Put the things in the ac server folder, overwrite things, rename assettoserver.exe to acServer.exe... ect.. so followed their instructions and now it works for me.
So thank you for the rest of the help, now we can do touge traffic drift with my friends :)
hi mate ty very much for the amazing video but i am having a problem with the asseto sever promp, everytime i open the assetto server in the files it keeps frocing it close and doesn't let me run the server if you happen to know a solution i would be gratefull

not really, you can look at hiring a dedicated machine hosted by someone and use that as your "server" but for free, not really
hi, i have done this multiple times now and literally done step by step what u said. i can join by LAN but if i join with link provided on server starter it says this (• Can’t load any information: connect failure.)
I dont know the actual reason for this but some people have said it is because of certain routers not allowing the ports to be accessed
I sorted the problem with router. Next question we want that second video with teleports etc haha

You can go to racedepartment, they have a transparent wrong way sign which you can download and it just gets rid of it
