I think 6 and Nietzsche have something in common. Both of them know the weight of nihility, but instead of give up or despair, they chose to walk on and guide others, offering them solace in a nihilistic world, despite meaning less. Also, i think the quote "either be wise and look on, or be practical and suffer" was referring to the Plato' Republic. Specifically the way Plato describes philosophers as they eventually have to make the decision to either stay away from societal conflict, or be practical and join the conflict in a hope to make the world better/convince those who swayed from the truth. Most often time the latter leads to suffering. As we can see from story, 6 knew that he couldn't convince 210 and others (he might even agree with them), so he asked 37 to make a choice. 37 chose to the latter, wanting to convince them even though it could be meaningless (wouldn't change the outcome). And so she suffers.
While Ch 7 certainly is certainly pessimistic, I also like that the characters achieve certain victories to make it a more nuanced tragedy. It's not a complete downer and the last few parts show that there's hope for the future. It's as if reminding us (and the characters) that tragedies are not the end of the road. Sorry for the rambling, it just came up during the video.
9:21 You mentioned Oedipus and I suddenly realised - he is relevant to all three locations of Chapter 7. He is a Greek Tragic Protagonist (Appeiron connection), that solved the riddle of the Sphinx, resulting in her killing herself (Laplace, Immunity Ritual, Arcana), and later became a Freudian Archetype (Early 20th Century Vienna). The second part is weak, admittedly, but if she knew she was going to die and died anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if she knew the immunity ritual could and would be deciphered by the Foundation soon.
Finally someone studied the thematics and the endless references to philosophy and mythology that's engraved in every aspect of this game. Especially, your comments on Nietzsche were so on point and well-done. Thank you so much :)
This is not a theory it's straight up a character study lmao 😂 thank you so much for the insight I would've never realised any of this if you didn't make this video!
This really laid out all of the points the characters made in a clear and concise manner. I even realized some story telling that even after a few reads, I didn’t realize were there

5:40 In the special program of 1.4 they mention how 37's Insight 2 art, that shes reaching out to the star of Apollo.

With how the second arc is going so far, I cannot help but be so excited for another unexpected twist like chapter 7 that also marks the end of an arc
