That's not always the case. Similar to bearger, dashing behind carries its own issue as sometimes the hit will detect you regardless of which way its facing

You just need to walk to the side of the attack while making sure you're not too close to deerclops directly, and you can easily avoid the attacks with minimal effort. I could go record and put up a video of it and show you if you want. It's REALLY easy...

He activated the rift event by world settings. Slasher doesn't do long plays as far as I know.
