It was a heavy stormy day on the island of Sodor. Thomas was pulling a train from the docks, he charged through the storm in a furious matter. Then thomas spotted
a light his track! It was a strange spider-like creature. Thomas screamed and applied his brakes! The strange creature crawled into the forest. Thomas looked around, then moved forward to speed up in case the creature was after him, and indeed it was. The spider like creature crawled after Thomas, it finally caught up, derailing and crashing the cars on his train and the little blue tank engine pumped his pistons hard! Thomas yelled as he puffed his hardest to escape, but it wasn’t fast enough to outrun the creature.
He soon woke up in the steamworks

Thomas was terrified. He could not believe this was actually happening to him. "What did I do to deserve this?" Thomas mentally asked himself. But he didn't have time to dwell on this, as it was then that the terrible thing struck. It slammed one of its black spider-like legs against Thomas, hurling the little blue tank engine off the tracks. He landed on his side, and the monster was upon him again. And that was it. The cargo was never delivered, and Thomas never returned to Tidmouth Sheds. The question now was, what now? Thomas's final thought was a terrible question. Would this creature now go after his friends?
