This happened last night. I look in my aquarium, and a stingray is missing. Literally no where to be seen. Not hiding either...Glad i had security footage to help share the story.
Come see me speak tomorrow: thebigfishdeal.com/
You make me wanna get a big aquarium myself
Is he OK is the eating
😐😮
The king of DIY glad the Ray was being a silly baby. As for me my slender brown African lungfish jumped the tank and was nesting in the cats water bowl. Terrified the cat and is as their really mobile in water but on land not so much but that bite is 800lbs of force on the fingers. Cat wouldn't trust the water bowl after seeing a 18 inch long fish in his bowl.
I lost a Norman's Lampeye killifish - when I finally located it, it had wedged itself in a hole in a piece of driftwood. Unfortunately the little one did not make it.
Guys stop saying "Oh i counted all five in the aquarium." He filmed his talk AFTER he rescued the ray. So the footage you're seeing of him talking was recorded after he got the ray out. So he was basically retelling what has happened.
Glad it had a happy ending!! See you TOMORROW!
To all the dumbos saying “I saw all five at the beginning”, do you really think he could explain this whole story without finding him? Really? He would film a video while he’s panicking about not finding the ray! No! This was after he found him! Of course there are 5 now! He FOUND him!
All the people saying They counted 5 when he was explaining makes me want to jump off a 20 story building. HE SAID THIS HAPPEND THE NIGHT BEFORE RECORDING THE VIDEO!!!!!
People who are saying that they saw all the stingrays, he said that he couldn’t find him AT NIGHT. In the video he grabbed him and got him back with the others. Once he filmed, he already have gotten the stingray which means of course the stingray would be in sight
Why is pretty much everyone in the comments saying; "but there are five stingrays in the tank!"? You guys are obviously commenting before having finished the video. He's telling the story of what happened the day after it happened, so obviously there are gonna be five stingrays in the tank.
The most important thing is that he counted Franks chins
So many people saying " I saw 5!" Yeah duh... This was filmed AFTER he found it.
lmao that ray just wanted to give u a hard time 😂
Catch Em All Fishing hi zak
Hii
Catch Em All Fishing hi Zack
For all people saying there is a fifth stingray.
Duh, obviously. He’s retelling something that happened, hence why he is talking in past tense. Listen and you’d realise.
Lmao people in the comments aren’t the brightest marbles in the pack
I once lost my hamster Sammy in the vent, he just fell right in there. We thought he was a gonner, but we kept on throwing hamster food and water into the air vent to hope he still gets food if he's still alive. 2 weeks later, badabing badaboom, there he was in the central air shaft. He was still alive and well, and ever since my home now smells like hamster food.
Nice
God, no one realised that this video was made after he found the stingray and people here are complaining that there are 5 stingrays in the background. Dude, watch the full video.
people in the comment section are like.. "I SEE 5" "I COUNT 5" and what not... and I'm like "in the comment section... I see morons."
Everyone is saying that they found 5 at the beginning.Well of course you did.He just showed everyone what he ALREADY DID. He did it earlier not just then in the vid.🤦🏼♀️🤦🏽♂️Like if you agree
When I was a kid I got a little feeder goldfish for my birthday because I really really wanted a pet. I had him for years and named him “Dinner” (it’s a long story) he got to be about 5 inches. We would put other fish in with him (usually other goldfish) hoping we could grow them out too. Usually he ended up killing them and eating them so we tried all different sizes. One year my little sister then insisted on getting a fantail goldfish for her birthday so we got him. We put him in the tank and a week later he disappeared, we figured Dinner had eaten him and we gave up. We figured if we wanted other fish we’d have to get another tank. So life went on and there was no sign of him for months until one day we was swimming around all happy and a lot bigger. We were baffled and were trying to figure out where he was all that time, that’s when I realized that the little conch shell we had in the tank was the perfect size for him to hide inside for those months. We figured he’d sneak out for food at night or food would float into the shell and that’s how he survived. After that my sister decided to name him Nemo because “he survived the impossible”, we didn’t get anymore fish we just let Dinner and Nemo live their lives together.
I’m convinced the Bermuda Triangle is in my 30 gallon
It totally fits that little stingrays personality, “hey dad, look what I can do!” I loved that!
Aliens is the most simple explanation for when something disappears without a trace.
For everyone saying "I can see all of them" HE WAS TELLING THE STORY AFTER THE EVENT HAPPENED, HE WOULDN'T RECORD THIS VIDEO IF HE DIDN'T FIND IT, HE WOULD PROBALY KEEP LOOKING FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I added 10 cherry shrimp to my aquarium. A week later, all of them were gone. I checked the filter... There were at least 100 baby shrimp alive in my filter just sitting there and looked at me.
loo
lol
30 seconds in and i feel the need to say this, i just got into keeping fish, and i lost one in my first week owning fish. I couldn't find him, eventually found him dead, stuck in a castle decoration. I no longer use that castle
For everyone that’s saying that there’s five stingray in the first bit of the vid, it’s because he is retelling the story that happened. He had already found the stingray when he filmed the intro!
“LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!” -In Stuart from MADTV voice lol
i lost my pleco for over a month, i had like this rock decor hide that looked like it had two rocks stacked on eachother. but only one of them had an entrance and the other one on top had no entrance even on the inside. So one day when i did a huge water change on the aquarium i couldnt find the pleco, not even in that hide that he always was in. and then a month later i see a bit of his tail poking out. it turned out that he had chewed a hole to the rock above and couldnt get back out again. so i had to crack his favorite hide open to get him out. he was alive and well and still is!
I lost a male guppy from my 2.5 gallon tank of two male guppies. I had a greedy blue who loved food and a shy orange one. I went on vacation for a week and left my fish with our friend who used to work at a wildlife reserve. She said that on the last day she saw Benji and Rascal, but when I fed them a few days later (our friend had overfed them so we let them pass that food for a few days) I only found Rascal. I tore apart the aquarium and my bedroom looking for Benji, nothing. A blue guppy is pretty easy to find. Rascal didn’t have an appetite for the next month that he lived, and he died a month after Benji’s Disappearance. We think, that Rascal was a cannibal. It’s weird to think of that two fish of the same size could eat each other over the span of three of four days, and Rascal didn’t have any injuries. This was 3 years ago, I have moved bedrooms, and Benji wasn’t found.
I have a catfish in my aquarium that likes to keep out of sight as much as possible. At first when I realised I haven't seen him in days. I started panicking. So I removed all the plants and rocks out of the tank. Turns out his favourite spot is underneath a certain rock.
"Hey dad look what I can do >^
That line killed me. XD
We've had a few mysterious fish disappearances over the years. Our first was a red tail shark, who just up and vanished one day. He had a tank all to himself, so nothing ate him. We dug through every inch of substrate, nothing. Took out all decor, again nothing. Tore the entire filter down, thinking maybe he'd managed to wedge himself into it... still nothing. We looked at every possible area that he could have landed, in the chance he'd jumped out of the tank, but no body was to be found; we also have no cats or dogs that may have eaten the body. That was about 4 years ago, and to this day, we still have no idea what on earth happened to him. He pretty much poofed out of existence. We've also thought we'd lost a kuhli loach before, until we discovered the little brat happily curled up in the filter, not a scratch on him. I swear... some fish just seem to like giving us heart attacks!
my parents had prawns in a tank before i was born. one day one went missing they assumed it got eaten by the others. jump 15+ years later were doing renovation. we fing the damn thing in a corner of my father’s room it jumped out of the tank and crawled a good 15-20 feet and dried there and stayed for at least 15 years
My albino Ancistrus randomly disappeared in his tank about a month ago. I obviously started looking for him right away and pretty much lifted and turned everything in there. No luck. After doing this for 2 days, we gave up and decided that, well, he was probably dead - And started to empty the tank and change the setup for another group of fish. In the aquarium, we had like a rock platform och tile that was buried in the sand. This was a large, wide platform that was UNDERNEATH the sand, buried on the bottom of the tank, and somehow, SOMEHOW, my ancistrus had managed to get under there and get stuck. When I saw him, dead of course, all I could think was "Great job ancistrus, great f*ckin job."
"Hey dad, look at what I can do!!!" 😂😂😂
"I Check all my tanks just like normal people do"... normal people don't have a million fish tanks lol
Dusty 5812 rofl
I lost a freshwater crab. It had crawled out of my tank using my filter. I found it two weeks later dried out under my bed.
Omg people saying errr i saw 5. HES TELLING US AFTER IT HAPPANED
I count all of fanks chins hahahahahahahahah brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍
My Crazy story:
I stock african cichlids and i recently added 5 new fish. I pulled out my rocks from my tank and put them in a bucket so there would not be battles for territory. The next day i noticed one of the new fish is missing! Franticly i look everywhere and it is no where to be found. So i go to sleep upset thinking it was eatten or something. I had a fealling it jumpped out. i assumed the worst, that i lost a new borly eye cichlid😓. 3 days later i disside to put back the rocks, and this guy was at the bottom of the bucket this whole time!!!! Whata hek!!!! Swimmjng just fine in less than an inch of whater!!!! That was so unbelievable.
Guys he litterally is taking about how he had lost his stingray THE NIGHT BEFORE!
Exactly
To all people pointing out that there were 5 at 2 minute mark the footage you are pointing out is filmed AFTER he found the fifth ray
My daughter wants a 10 min video of just Frank swimming around
COUNTING FRANK'S CHINS HAHAHA
1:16 just look how happy that fish is to see his dad .. ❤️
Lmao everyone commenting “they see 5 stingrays in the video” impatient af. He is filming the aftermath of what happened.
Ray - "Hey Dad, look what i can do!" i died lol
me too. i my son suddenly popped into my mind. hilarious!
"Hey Dad, look what I can do!" -My Crested Gecko when I found him on my ceiling.
Yall need to stop getting mad that u see the 5th one he knows hes just talking and re-enacting the story last night so dont comment until u see the whole vid
Thought my red tailed cat ate my 16” fire eel... sold all my monster fish and turned my 180 to a full blown community tank with all new decor, a month later i put back some large pieces of driftwood i thought would look nice with my new fish and the next morning my fire eel showed up... lol could yall imagine how i felt when i seen a 16” fire eel swimming with all my baby clowloaches and school of roseline sharks!! 🤯🤯🤯
Bro emagine how high his water bill😂
He has a well, so he doesn't have a water bill
How would you know
@@cedrineballesteros4140 because he has stated it more than once in his videos
@@Sean-in9qi ohhhh okay👌
The execution on the counting part was spot on 😂 It was like a children’s book.
“I count the Arowana: 1,2,3,4.
I count the freshwater stingrays: 1,2,3,4...
I head over to Frank’s aquarium and see that they’re doing fine.
I count ALL of Frank’s chins: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
But didn’t I mention I had 4 stingrays? I thought I had FIVE?!”
Too good. 😂
I lost a fish once. I found it wrapped by a bunch of dust bunnies underneath of my bed on the floor. I thought it was dead, but I took a net and moved it around in the water for a while. It was like doing fish CPR. Eventually it twitched once really hard, and shot out of the net I was using to move it around with.
I once had a harlequin catfish which I really liked.
The first thing it did when I put him in the aquarium was to swim behind some piece of wood..... and that was the last I saw of him.
He couldn't have gotten out. Nothing inside the aquarium could have eaten him. He had just vanished.
The fish also never appeared while I was cleaning the aquarium. It really was as if it had never been there in the first place.
Fast forward two years later.
Something bad happened. Some kind of malfunction with the cleaning pump which didn't show at all from the outside until it was too late.
There were many victims and among them, right in the center of the aquarium, was the harlequin catfish.
I had never expected to see him again. Sadly he was dead.
Well, all that happened around 25 years ago and I really blame my inexperience back then for that incident. But well, I was a child and simply didn't realize that something was wrong.
But well, at least I learned that the catfish had never left the building.
When I worked at an aquarium shop we were moving a client's 275 reef tank and in the refugium portion of his sump system we found a beautiful wrasse, I don't remember what kind anymore, that he said cost like $600USD, that he also said he thought had been dead for over a year. Apparently he was just eating algae and whatever bits of food got sucked down through the overflows and was perfectly fine down there for over a year.
"I count the number of Frank chins" LOL
👀 "Hey dad, look what I can do!" 😆
“Dad, look what I can do”
I can be smart
For all the thickos commenting about how easy it was to see the ray, the footage of him talking was filmed AFTER he found it.
This video made me lol. "Hey dad! Look what I can do!" 😂
datinyone just goes to show ges already laughing about it. I died to at that point.
OMG JUST WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO BEFORE YOU COMMENT GENIUSES
It's so painful to read these comments.
its driving me nuts lol anyone heard of now and before.thumbed up
Okay people saying that they see five in the video is really annoying. The Ray was stuck behind the background, however, he recorded the beginning parts (where people are saying they see 5 rays) after getting the ray out. Watch the security footage
That stingray is the hide and seek champion of 2018.
"then i count all of franks chins; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7" lmao
That wall full of aquariums and that large aquarium in the middle was amazing 😍 I also want to have that kind of fish room someday 😊😉🐟🐠🐡
To everyone here who thinks they're really clever spotting the fifth ray: He recorded this video after he found the ray. He literally showed you the security footage *from the night **_before_* , including the part where he found the ray
goji thank👏you👏finally👏someone👏has👏common👏sense👏
So we'll be calling that one Houdini, then. 😊
Gaina lol
Ok I saw him in the back of the aquarium
He found the stingray. Watch the whole video.
Wow. What a room. This must be a full time job maintaining all your tanks.
We used to have a 6 foot tank with varieties of Australian freshwater fish (Archer fish, eeltail catfish and some yabbies) as well as snails and crabs even, just for variety. the problem with the crabs was that they wanted to get out....and they did. We ended up finding one under the couch when the room smelled like something had died (it dried up sadly and was under a recliner.) and the other two kept getting out till we put large books on top of the lid. Sadly one got sick and the other one got eaten by the eeltails while a friend was caring for them when we went on vacation.
My wife and I last year were rescaping our 125 gallon Cichlid tank. Which we have a huge 55 gallon plastic tub to put all of our aquarium rocks in to set aside for later. So about five months had passed since then and the tub is still in the house where upon i find a baby Cichlid still alive and kicking. My wife and I are still baffled how the hell the fish survived all that time in 60 degree water with no food or water changes to speak of.
tim garness that right there is a survivor hope you kept it around cause they are clearly not going out easy 😂
The fish is still alive and kicking. I knew Cichlids were hardy fish to begin with but this this still dumbfounds me. The fish is now a healthy 3 inch Bumble Cichlid terrorizing the tank.
tim garness I am glad to hear that, that’s nuts
"i count all of frank chins" what a *savage* joey !
2:02 If you look at back
I think It's the 5th stingray
It's after happening. He's just telling the story
Everyone thats saying that there is five fish in the tank...he rescued the fis1h and THEN recorded the video damn it.
I have a peacock fry that managed to get down my overflow, through all of my plastic scrubbies and into the refugium in the middle of the sump somehow. I left him in there to live for a little while since he seemed to be happy there. In with the rest of them now. I named him Nemo. Lol.
Have you guys heard about the aquarium that couldn't understand why the were constantly losing fish? Not in the sump, and the fish were too big for the other fish to eat. They put a camera and found out that an octopus in a neighbouring tank on the other side of the room would lift the lid, crawl out, down and across the floor, up the tank and into it to grab a snack. Then would crawl back out with the fish back across the floor, up and back into its own tank to eat it. 😎
Very cool story, if true.
I lost my unloosable fish... turned out, do not underestimate the ability of the impossible to loose fish... because impossible isn’t necessarily always not possible...
This is one of my first videos I’ve seen of yours and your tank room is your AMAZING!
I’ve got two goldfish in my room and I couldn’t imagine having that many fish.
I count all of Frank's chins...
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
I'm dying 😂😂😂😂
I counted ball sack
"I proceed to count all of Frank's chins.....1, 2, 3, 4, 5." Haha
I had a crayfish named Quincy, he was a fantastic lad. I kept him in a 5 gal tank on the floor with a lid and everything. One day I come home and see that he isn't in the tank, I look around the area and there's no sign of him, hell I don't even know how he got out. 5 mins later my sister flips over a pillow that was on the floor and there he was camping out under it. It was a funny seeing him raise his claws and try to fight us from his newly claimed territory (he had a lot of audacity for a little thing barely bigger than a lemon) We put him back in and go on with the night. A week later he goes missing again, I come home and he's gone from the tank. I look around and find what I thought was a giant cockroach but it was just my boy Quincy dead on the floor smh.
Why'd he die
I added 4 Kuhli loaches to my 15g Fluval Flex (filtration built into the back compartment). There were 3 banded loaches and one solid brown. After a few days, I could only see the banded loaches, but didn't worry that much because it was a planted tank and they hide well. Not until 2 weeks later I found the solid brown loach doing laps in the filter compartment. In trying to net her in the small space, she JUMPED OUT! I picked her up and put her back in and she is doing great a year later. Now I think she's too big to fit into the filter...
He said i check my aquariums every nightjust like a normal people do😂😂 im sure us fish keepers dont fall under the "normal people" catagorie lol
My mom was somewhat used to discover crayfish covered in dust all the way to the bathroom.
They were my dads and they loved to escape, some we never discovered how they did it...
Crayfish are some incredible creatures
At 2:02 your 5 stingrays are there look st the 4 i front of the camera but look farther in the tank there is another ray??
RUclipsHaveMxrcy where
Thank you
Nice Livestream look far down the tank
That’s the 5th ray
Toxichh17 yeah I know
I once lost a crab only to find it crawling under my fridge a week later
By the title, i thought a stingray died, but then he said
"have you ever lost a fish before, but i don't mean it dies, i mean, when you look in your aquarium and the fish isn't there anymore." - i was like, oh no 😂
( EDIT; also guys, he's telling a story, yes you're counting 5 because this afterwards lmao. )
Lmao right, he's talking about what happened the night before lol
Thank God your stingray is ok ... I almost got heart attack when I read the title.
6:01 Look at the door, someone coming in. Maybe you should ask him haha
My dad's missing for 5 years too.
I had a sponge filter, a few shrimp, and a betta. Most of the shrimp were happy chilling and grabbing food bits and getting fed... but one enterprising shrimp decided he was going to swim down the big center tube of the sponge filter and set up shop there. I lost him for an entire week before I found the fatass chillin in the middle of the tube when I did a water change. He was very unhappy to be removed from his nice digs.
"hey dad, look what I can do"
Chronically Witty my favourite part 😂😂
“HEY DAD LOOK WHAT I CAN DO” LOL IM DYING AHAHAHAH
2:02 he’s in the bottom right corner or are you re-creating the scenario? Sorry if I misunderstood
Re creation. Happened at 1 am.
nick arndt oh ok thank you
Few years back my juvenile Ornate Bichir around 3" went behind the 3D background and I thought that maybe the Arowana has eaten the bichir. But after almost 6 months while doing a complete makeover I found him behind the background. Surprisingly it was alive and it was 5" in length. God knows what he eaten for that long. Overall a very happy ending.
"Hey dad.......look what i can do!"
A solid white butterfly koi jumped out of my tank and I found it on the floor completely dry and not moving even the floor was dry I picked it up and ran it straight to water I made sure the water was about room temp and put the fish under it the fish didn’t react after about 2 minutes I gave up and as I turned the water off it got really cold and seemed to shock the fish it started breathing and moving as soon as the cold water hit it and I ran it back to the tank the koi sank to the bottom lifelessly but breathing slowly started to get up right after 5 minutes then after 10 minutes it was holding itself upright and 20 minutes after that it was swimming around like nothing had happened they were about 4 inches long at the time they are about 6-7 inches long now in a 100 gallon tank in my buddies classroom I gave all my fish to him
Man, you are funny, I was cracking up... I do the same thing at times and it only happens when I need to get to bed haha
that would make a funny tshirt: Hey Dad, look at what I can do.
I lost my Blue whale once.
Yeah me too the sneaky thing
“And that’s when I see two eyes looking back at me” -The King Of DIY
Lol "I check on all my aquariums just like normal people do"... lol yeh buddy.. i have a whole room of aquariums too.. and and. and.. i dont just lose sting rays.. i lose sharks and stuff..
Why did you have the need to put Three Ands?
Phew! You had me worried! What a little bugger, I'm so glad you got him out okay.
My mum found a fish in her filter one time when she was cleaning it, funny thing was it was a baby corydoras - so we didn't actually know that fish was there in the first place and all others were accounted for! It seemed to be doing okay for growing up in a filter and rejoined the others happily.
