I've been looking for this show for years. And I can feel you about the memories of family from a particular place and time. I grew up in the BX in the 60's, 70's, early 80's. I worked side by side with those old jews who still had the numbers tattooed in their forearms. It blows my mind when people try to say that never happened or that slavery wasn't that bad. WTF??

I watched this i was kid in the middle of 80's ! This serie remember so many things i lived at these days... It was an amazing serie but when i rewatched it last year on french tv i thank it was so ugly FX effects and bad scenario and acting. But the noise of weapons and the differents music themes are always for me one of the bests things in this show !!
