detach girl. i detached in february and i have not been happier. also, dont think of anything as a collapse, or you may as well be watching politics all day long. you dont know, no one knows, what is going to happen. and even if there WAS a collapse, all you can do is live your life in the way that feels right to you. its not as if you have a space shuttle waiting for you IF something actually collapses. i thought at first that i wasnt going to be 'prepared' if i tuned out, but guess what IT'S ALL THE SAME CRAP when i poked my head up last week. nothing has changed. and since february, i started an ENORMOUS ENORMOUS HUGE deal of an endeavor that is about to unfold in the coming weeks. if i had not detached, i would not have done what i did, and i would just be angry anticipating a collapse that MAY OR MAY NOT happen. you dont have a crystal ball. and even if it DOES collapse, all collapses happen to make way for something new and better. even germany. so, remember that before you put yourself into a spiral of THE WORLD COLLAPSING. that's a really dramatic way of dealing with things, and its a perspective that you are CHOOSING. even if 'the worst' happens here, i still have agency, and i will jump when the time is right. i am always prepared. so, i dont have to focus on what MAY (or may not) happen. why worry about it. whats going to happen will happen. and we will all deal with it the way that we will. the last thing im going to do is fill my days with anxiety. the 'collapse' would happen whether or not im anxious, so i choose not to be anxious. i have faith that i will handle anything that comes my way. cheers! xo
