It's pretty funny how the developers of "I Am Bread" made it an instant death to fall in the water - almost as if they knew that Gavin would be playing one day.
I Am Bread actually has a side story where the owner of the house is going insane due to the slices of bread that randomly appear toasted away from the loaf. With each passing level he attempts to hide the loaf of bread in different places to see if it keeps happening, which it does.
People question why he does this. Guys, this is Gavin we're talking about. He makes bird noises, says stupidly-British words that aren't even actual British slang, and gags when he experiences a slight temperature change, like walking outside from his house. Don't question the Free. Gavin does what he does.
This is why Gavin can (essentially) take screen shots in his brain by closing his eyes like a Shutter. This is why he can, and HAS pinpointed SINGLE frames as points of interest in footage, and been able to navigate to the exact spot by his hyper sensitive sensory memory. This is why he gags at the Wet bread. Some of it is playing for laughs and content, but the reaction is real. He’s got great sensory recall, and so when he sees wet Bread, he FEELS the texture of wet bread in his mouth! I know it, because I feel it too. The second he hears about it or sees it, his brain goes right to involuntarily reproducing the sensation of eating wet soggy bread, (just gagged) texture and all. That’s the WORST part about having that kind of innate recall. You can be drawn back to a smell and feel like you’re smelling it, you can feel ripples in muscles and skin when you see someone take a spill…and they feel hot and itchy, like they’re infected until your brain stops. The worst is TEXTURE. When you get the sensation of some gross, wet mess at the mere suggestion… even if you’re eating anything else! Imagine smelling Bomit because someone MENTIONS VOMIT.
