Having lost my dear brother this way 15 years ago my tears flow every time I hear Sam's song. It also ties my stomach into knots. It's just the worst way to lose somebody you love. Sam, like my niece & nephew, will always suffer that pain, as I will always suffer mine. Thank you for the reaction, Paul. It's a beautiful tribute.
Sam was so brave to have gotten through this performance so soon after his Dad's passing. Such a touching and beautiful performance. I can't believe how he got the whole crowd to stay quiet for the whole performance. Thanks for reacting to this one 💜💜
Sam radiates a type of love through his heart to voice to other souls. I hope he felt & fells his dad's spirit often, especially when he sings. So he feels love in return. I see peices of my dad in my children. In those pure moments, the world stops except them & bliss. My dad's funeral was really hard. His reception I knew there was going to be drama, there always is in his extended side of the family. I was always told weddings and funeral. The Mexican spice in his family gets spicy.☺️ so I dropped off records to them to listen to think.of him then I split to go sweet James taylor. I felt so much warmth singing with James and the crowd. I knew if my hero was alive, he would have ditched them for JT too. 🤭 Thank you for reviewing Sam. All his songs are beautiful in their own way 🤍🌻
Thankyou for another thoughtful and hearfelt reaction. It's impossible to listen to this one without feeling it with him. He's a beautiful soul & it's good he feel's able to express himself as there are so many that cant and keeping it hidden seems to cause other problems. He wrote another some recently called "phones in heaven." I have just added it to you're play list.
This is a very difficult song for me to watch without sobbing. I miss my dad so much, so I empathize with Sam and with you so much. I couldn’t imagine picking myself up to give this performance two weeks after losing my father. Thank you so very much for what you said at the end. As an attempt survivor myself, I have promised myself for the last two decades that not only would I never allow myself to get that low again… but I would also dedicate myself to mental health advocacy. It is so important that you spoke those words. I appreciate you.
