- Guideline LPX Tactical combines nothing less than cutting edge technology and a new definition of state-of-the-art rod actions for trout fishing. Tactical has a distinct and very precise action that gradually unleashes when you load the rods more and more. The action is what we like to describe as fast ¾ deep with superb stability that suits all levels of fly casters. When casting at shorter distance the tip and mid-section gives you plenty of that important sensitivity you need, at mid and longer distance the lower parts of the rod engages and give you all the connection, power, and stability you dreamed of. These rods are nothing short of exceptional: Super smooth, yet rigid and master all the different types of casts you like to do and protect the finest tippets playing your trophy trout. Ultralight in hand and in real weight - 9ft #5wt weighs just 70grams!

They look superb. Will have a try when next in Turangi! Thanks from down-under in NZ.
Have fun!
Thumbs up from me with the tactical
If I was to get a 4 wt rod that can do both euro style nymphing as well as small indicator fishing , would I be best to get the 9,9” tactical rod or the 10’2” 4 wt from the nymph series rods?
Hei Steve, 9'9 Lpx Tactical-stangen som gir deg mer allsidighet som både nymfe-, indikator- og tørrfluestang. 10'4 er en mer spesialisert euro-nymfestang. //GL-Team.
If i choose 904 rod for dryfly fishing and somtime small nymphs, what line or lines would be good for that plz?

@@Guidelineflyfish thank u 😃😃😃
Hi, Guideline team! Is the tactical in the 9ft 6wt a fast action tip flex rod? Im looking to nymph fish with a strike indicator and 2 woolly buggers as nymphs with size 8 hooks - should I go with the 7wt then?
Hi! With two #8 Wooly Buggers + an indicator it sounds like the #7 wt would be a better fit to cast that load. //Henke GL
@@Guidelineflyfish i was even thinking about the costal 6wt for that.. Any toughest on this option?
Does the 9' #6 have a figthing-butt?
Hi! Nope it does not. The #7 comes with a butt, as well as all 9´9" models. // GL-Team
